Chapter 13: Nightmare

(Author LeviAndErenAreMine's note): I figured the Song would fit in with this chapter so enjoy the song! I'm sorry I did not update this story yesterday because as you know Mondays are the worst! I'm also writing another story called: The Florist, which is also a Levi X Reader so I won't be always updating on a schedule but I'll try to! Thank you.

Levi P.O.V

I felt depressed and half of me gone. I knew that I couldn't get attached to anyone or else they'll become my other half. But then Y/n came along and I just couldn't hold myself back anymore. I don't know why she thinks she isn't worthy enough to become mine because to me she has past my standards and it surprises me truly.

She was a clean freak like me but she was nicer and I could tell the cadets preferred her ordering them to clean then me. Y/n always treated everyone the same and were on good terms with everyone, even the MP and Garrison males adored her and I did not like that.

Y/n P.O.V

I stared at the boy in the photo, could I really achieve my goal? The main reason why I came to the surface anyway was to find him and say thank you, but because of Levi can I really do it?

How those pure eyes in the image glisten if though he was in pain.(A/n: you might wanna go back to chapter 1-2 to understand.) That gnash reminded me of my past in the underground and I shivered. I know I'm not weak but I am not strong too. But why do people like someone like me? If they knew my past they would surely hate me.

Avoiding Levi was so hard, I would get butterflies every time he looked in my direction or when he just gives me a soft gaze. Argh, snap out of it, that soft gaze isn't for me but Miss Ral. The Miss from a rich family who only joined to catch the captain's eyes. She wasn't good at all which always lead to someone else dying for her. She made us call her Miss, Lady Ral or Fair Petra but when Levi or superiors were around we'd have to call her Petra and act like we worship her.

Hah, I spat, I'm Christian, old lady and I worship and praise only God.

Author P.O.V

Y/n had sort of evil thoughts about 'Miss Ral' rush through her head and she didn't notice that her friends were worried with that evil smirk on her face. They had never seen her like this and they didn't know what cause this but still they let her be as they know everyone needed some alone time to get things out of their heads.

Y/n had distanced herself from everyone unknowingly and the only person she stayed close with was Annie and Hange. Of course due to Y/n's action she caught Levi's eye which always cause him to frown. He didn't like that Y/n wasn't with others because it meant something was wrong. He knew Y/n loved being with people because it gave her the feeling that she belonged. Learning from Hange after a game of poker Y/n was very close and still in contact with one of MP that was her 'sister'.

Erwin had asked Levi, Y/n, Hange, Reiner, Petra, Ymir, Armin and Jean to come into his office for a meeting. Of course they were all confused except Levi and Hange.

Erwin explained to the cadets that there was a secret mission and they were chosen to help Levi and Hange. The mission was to bring something back to the HQ from the MP, but the Garrisons, people and some MP must not know what it was. Levi and Hange themselves weren't even 100% sure what is was but from the MP the people who were going to bring the 'thing' were Annie, Bertolt, Hitch and someone else as that person hasn't been confirmed yet.
