Chapter 23: Break In pt.4

Reiner P.O.V

Annie left, going back to her HQ while Berthold, Ymir and myself awaited for the plan.

Ymir stayed behind on the wall to cover for us while Berthold and I sneaked off to the inside of the wall. We managed to find a hollow room a month ago and the plan had been set up and arranged. Just a moment ago we were revising it so everybody will remember where they should be and what they are doing.

Giving Berthold some reassurance before I left, I gave him an okay with my hand before I jumped down and hid waiting to give the signal.

I took a deep breath, 1...I'm Sorry Guys...2...It's for the best...3...We need to get home...NOW!!!

BANG!!!

I covered my ears as I shot a red flare.(A/n: No meaning just to signal Berthold.)

I ran as the wall crumbled. The Break In Invasion has begun...

In my titan form I ran breaking houses in the district and killing comrades as they flew up to me. I know I have become a murderer but if it was to get home I would do it.

I made eye contact with Ymir who was high on the wall and she nodded her head before running off. The upper comrades in the scouts have already started killing all the titans that were coming in. There was one person I had to avoid in all cost, Captain Levi.

This man was amazing and no doubt on why he was Humanity's Strongest but when it comes to Marley and being in my titan form this man was my enemy. My opponent was Eren Yeager, we had a few battles before but I know he is getting stronger which means he can almost or can beat me.

Avoiding Levi is one thing but Eren is something interesting to look forward too. I smiled but continued to focus on the invasion.

I turned around to run back to the hole where Berthold kicked and I ran through it making it bigger and larger. Titans from 3-14m came rushing in, Abnormals and stupid ones, though hidden amongst these titans was a shifter maybe 2 even not including myself.

ROOAARR!!!

A crack of yellow lightning whipped the sky turning it grey before blue again. I grinned this is my moment to shine and distract.

Ymir P.O.V

Hidden amongst the raging group of titans I swung from building to building looking for Y/n. Where was she?

I've almost been around the whole district twice and I've seen comrades and people get eaten but yet I still haven't found Y/n.

I can't take back Christa or Historia I should say back home anymore but I want to take Y/n, the one who made us whole, the one who made us smile, the one who made us want to protect her and the one who introduced me to my love.

I hung from the clock tower the tallest building in the district and my eyes scanned and skimmed amongst everywhere.

My eyes widened finding her...Y/n

There she was...She was lying on a cracked roof with small chunks of the wall hanging around her. My eyes saddened. Y/n was unconscious her right arm laid across her stomach and her left arm above her head. She had ash(the broken wall dust)on her body and I knew immediately that she had fallen from the wall from Berthold's transformation and she ended up like that. F*ck you Berthold.

I gasped there was a titan coming her way. The evil smile and fangs behind the eyes. I won't reach there in time as she was at the right side in the district near the wall and I was far on the opposite. 

I won't give her to you that easily.

My arms rapidly grabbed and swung my whole body throughout the town and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest and head. Almost reaching her maybe 10m away, I stopped...

The titan had already placed her fragile body into it's ugly foul mouth and he gulped her down, closing his mouth and eyes in refreshment. I gagged and felt tears rise.

This couldn't be it...This wasn't meant to happen...What should I tell Annie?

I turned around looking away and there behind me was Annie...
