Chapter 32: Was she abducted?

As I held Y/n in my arms while running away, I kept on repeating these very words to her, "You're going to be safe".

Author P.O.V

"Berthold! Berthold! DON'T FAIL ME NOW!"

Berthold woke up with a sudden shake and his arms wrapped around the woman that woke him up. 

"Annie, shh, I'm fine now".

Which was a lie, as he felt massive banging on his head and he felt so dizzy but for the woman he loved, he acted tough.

"Stop lying, Berthold. I can see blood dripping from you're head. What happened here?"

Suddenly remembering a bit of what happened earlier, Berthold sat up more straight, "Y/n...Where is Y/n?"

The 3 friends looked at Berthold strangely before Reiner asked, "Y/n? Isn't she with you, somewhere?"

Berthold's eyes widened. His eyes stung. Tears rose. And they fell.

"No, No, No, NO!" Ymir yelled out, "SHE'S NOT GONE! SHE CAN'T BE! WE CAN'T LOSE HER AGAIN!"

Tears streamed down Ymir's face before she buried her head in Reiner's hard shoulder. Berthold's attention switched back to Annie as he heard quiet sobs. Not knowing what to do for his beloved who had just lose her bestfriend, he took her into his arms.

"I'm sorry Annie, I'm sorry everyone".

The 4 don't know what happened here on the Edge of Farland Woods after Berthold was knocked out by Zeke, but they all mourned for their dead friend.

Y/n P.O.V

My eyes, I couldn't see anything. My body was to weak and heavy. Voices were heard all around me and they pained my head. With all my left over strength, I strained out words, "Please-be-quiet".

After saying that, I felt eyes stare at me before the quiet fell upon me. Sighing in peace, I snuggled in the strong but soft fabric that was on top of me. Hmm, the scent, it smelled familiar. I felt my right hand being lifted up gently before grasped by warm thin hands.

"Sleep well little Y/n, sleep well".
