S2 Chapter 1: Marley

Earlier, I had woken up to the strangest coldest chill, that had run down my spine. The sun shone brightly now as it peered into my room. 

I got onto my elbows and pushed myself up. My feet dangled across my bed before they slipped into some warm slippers.

I cling my fuzzy white bathrobe around me as I tumbled out of my room. The house I was in was awfully quiet which meant my housemates were still asleep.

Or so I thought.

"MORNING!" 

I was knocked down onto the floor by an excited Gabi.

"Ah, Good morning Gabi. Why are you here so early?"

Gabi helped me get up before she gave an even more exciting grin, "Today is the Marley Festival, remember?! Ymir said that you will take me, Falco, Udo and Zofia there!"

I gave her a smile, "Yes, I agreed to that but don't you think you should wake up Uncle Reiner and Porco first? They're still snoring."

Gabi gave an angry gasp as she stomped towards the Boys side of the house.

I chuckled at the sight as she pulled the ear of Reiner and Porco with her two small hands and she dragged them out of the rooms.

My tea's bubbles sunk down as I stirred it with a teaspoon but looking at this gave me a sudden jolt.

"Y/N!"

"Y/N?!"

"Y/n?"

"Y/n, what are you doing?!"

My hands trembled as Levi yelled at me.

"I'm just mixing your tea-".

"Y/n, that is not how you make tea. That's how you make coffee and I find that revolting."

I gave him a nervous laugh.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you, but seriously tea is a serious matter."

Levi asked me to watch him as he made the tea for the both of us.

He placed the tea bags into the blue dragon tea cup and one in his plain white one. He then poured out the hot water into the small cups and then he told me to let them sit in for a bit to let the flavour burst out.

He handed me the special tea cup he gave me on my birthday and I smiled.

I knew that Levi found it disgusting and ridiculous if you put any milk or sugar into the tea because he liked the natural flavour though many despised it.

I liked it. It was a nice soothing taste. And when I told Levi about it I guess he got me the tea cup and started teaching me about Tea.

"Y/n!" Gabi cried as she jumped into my arms.

I looked around me and I saw the worried looks on Reiner, Porco, Falco, Udo, Zofia, Ymir, Annie and Bertholdt. 

"What happened?" I asked them as my croaky dry voice was heard around the room.

"You fainted. I'm not sure what caused it but your heart jolted and Reiner, Porco and Gabi found you on the kitchen floor." Annie held my shoulder up as I felt so dreary.
