Chapter 35: Hangover

"You dumb a*shole." A rather too short male for his age entered the lively cabin and scolded someone he had his eyes on. "Hange, what the f*ck is going on? And it's such a sh*tty mess in here."

The drunk brown haired lady came wobbling off the table and offered a drink to the captain which he declined. 

"No, I don't want this reeking drink from you."

"Then would you want it from my puss-".

Levi cut her off with a disgusted face, "F*ck off, Hange."

"Let's go Levi." Erwin gave his friend a laugh before they took a seat in the back of the cabin.

Erwin and Levi arrived last because they had to finish their paperwork before coming and supervising. Though they expected Hange to supervise but what did they expect?

Levi crossed his legs and arms over and watched the smelly, gross, puking cadets. He honestly hated it but was glad that the cadets would be the ones cleaning. After a while though Levi felt so bored and he glided towards the 'food' and 'drinks' on the large grand table. He eyed the food knowing that most of it came from Sasha's grubby hands but he stopped as his eyes landed on a particular pallet. His eyes watered and he unwrapped it before staring at it wide eyed. 

On the plate was full of fresh fruit. Not just fruit but it was made into animals and all sorts of things. And the captain's heart felt heavy as he saw a pear carved into himself. He immediately knew who made this it was his Y/n. (A/n: I searched on google and Levi's favorite food is fresh fruit as when it arrived in the underground it wasn't fresh anymore.) When Levi and Y/n was still together she had fun carving and making things out of fruit then she would shove it down Levi's throat though he didn't mind.

Levi's hands shaked as he picked up the carved pear and he held his tears back. Gently lifting it up to his mouth, Levi bit into it. His mouth curved up into a small smile that was unnoticeable from afar and his eyes smiled instead.

After finishing it, Levi went back and sat down. Erwin was long gone, drinking to his hearts content but Levi's attention and focus was on someone else.

There Y/n was, dancing with Hange, Sasha, Connie, Jean, and Armin. He eyed Y/n carefully knowing that she was drunk anything could happen to her. He knew that Armin would take care of Y/n if anything happened to her because he was a kind 'friend' to Y/n. Levi had no idea what had gotten Y/n drinking as while they were together back then, Y/n never drunk before and hated the reek of alcohol. 

Levi frowned, he obviously thought it was Hange's fault and it was. The grey-blue eyes kept on watching the h/c lady in the crowd like a hawk. But the eyes widened in Alarm.

Y/n had fallen down after being pushed by Hange and her head hit the wooden table. Levi rushed to her quickly and held her just before she hit the dirt floor. With Y/n in his arms, Levi felt relieved but was insanely livid at Hange and the others in the conga line(except Armin he left).

Hange realised what had happened and burped out, "Oh uh, Y/n I am sorry-".

Levi cut her off, no longer having any patience left with the mad scientist, "Save it".

The crowd of Cadets, Section Commanders and Erwin watched in silence as Levi carried Y/n out of the cabin. Everyone did feel guilty and pity to Levi. 3/4 of everyone in the room knew that Levi and Y/n were together before she was taken away and lost her memories. They knew that Y/n was his everything, happiness, love, sadness, weakness, anger, home and anything else.

"I think that's it for tonight cadets." Erwin stated, "Go off to your rooms now and get ready for training tomorrow."

Levi took Y/n to her room that she shared with Hange.

"Y/n, you dumb stupid brat. That I love dearly." Levi held Y/n's hand as he watched her with so much love. "Why did you lose you're memories? Did you want to forget me so badly? Did you leave me like everyone else in my life?!"

Levi's tears poured down as he whispered to his unconscious lover. Levi felt so much pain. He went through so much after losing Y/n and he felt so guilty. Levi blamed himself for everything, for everyone's death in the survey corps and the titans who were once human.

Levi let go of Y/n hands and wiped his streaming waterfall on his sleeves. 

"Don't leave me Y/n. Please". By this time Levi's voice broke and he sobbed quietly beside Y/n.

"Ugh, Ow! My head hurts," Y/n groaned as she got up from her bed. She stretched her arms out before noticing a man entering her room.

"You're having a hangover, drink this soup." Levi handed her the tray that was a warm 'chicken noodle soup'.

Y/n slurped it all quickly and apologised as soon as she realised what she did in front of the captain AKA her crush.

Levi patted her head telling her no worries but it made Miss Y/n blush furiously.

"Oh, your head is burning up. Do you have a fear?" Levi panicked at the sudden heat that attacked his hand.

Y/n shook her head furiously, embarrassed at what the captain thought.

"Uhm, Heichou, can you leave? I need to go change for training today-".

"No. You're not going to training today. You have a high fever and you drank a lot last night. I know that was your first time drinking and that you can't handle it." Levi pushed Y/n back in bed and tucked her in. But before he left he kissed her forehead and closed the door shut.

Y/n turned a bloody red and hid under her covers and squealed into her pillow.

Little did she know behind the door stood the captain, hearing her happy squeals and screams. He smiled softly before leaving the girl dorms.
