We were on our horses planning to meet up with Berthold at the edge of Farland Woods before Midnight.
"Kaw, Kaw, Kaw!"
We heard crowing above us and we all lifted our heads towards the night sky and we saw a crow.
But it was night time...Shouldn't all birds including crows be asleep by now?
Then it got to me.
It was enchanted by a Titan Shifter.
Still looking above the bird flew past us and my eyes widened, "OI! FOLLOW THAT BIRD!!!"
Reiner and Ymir followed behind me as we chased the bird.
We all halted suddenly when the crow had landed on a large boulder. It was hiding it's head in it's wing and it shook his right leg indicating that the note was for us.
Ymir gently took the black feathered bird into her lap and she untied the piece of parchment. After stroking the cooing crow, she handed the note to me mouthing the words, Berthold Hoover.
My Hands shook as I gently unrolled the parchment and I read the tiny words that Berthold had written.
Dear Annie, Ymir & Reiner,
As we planned that we are going to meet at the edge of Farland Woods before Midnight but I'm afraid that must be on hold.
I frowned and told Ymir and Reiner who was waiting eagerly that the plan to meet up with him was on hold. I continued reading further, this time out loud.
"You may be asking why? It's because our mission back in the district wasn't an entire fail. You remember the reason for the whole mission right?"
I made eye contact with the other 2. Yes, we remember...The whole reason for that mission was to take, Y/n...I looked back down to the parchment.
"Y/n, is alive..."
"So meet me like we planned but as soon as you get this letter, speed ahead."
My lips quivered and my eye sight went blurry. My tears burst out and Reiner and I cried while Ymir just smiled with a glossy shine in her eyes.

On our two horses(Ymir & Annie on one and Reiner on his own with supplies)we rapidly sped up to get to the edge of the woods before the other 2.
Still yipping my horse harder and harsher each time, Ymir patted my back telling me to cool down so Reiner could catch up with us.
"Sorry..."
"That is fine," Reiner said still puffed out from trying to catch up.
We let out horses take a lighter run as they must be puffed out too.
We passed some light conversations with each other about the past. Mostly memories of Y/n.
"Guys..."Ymir said in a stretched expression.
"What?" Reiner and I said in question.
"We are almost there!"
"Ha! No f*cking way!" Reiner chuckled galloping ahead.
"Oi! Wait up!" I said chasing him from behind.
"STOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!" Ymir yelled making us pause in our race.
"What?" I asked confused.
"J-Just look ahead of us." Reiner shivered out.
