Chapter 38: Season 1 Finale

Eren P.O.V

I stare widely at the captain in front of me.

"Eh he," I scratch my neck as the captain glares at me. If looks could kill...

"Yeager, explain."

Not really knowing which part to explain, I basically explained everything from where I caught Y/n to getting caught by the heichou.

Finally looking up from my mumbling explanation, I see a non readable expression.

"Heichou?" The captain snapped out of his thoughts and scoffed at me. "What?"

"Instead of chasing after Y/n like Mikasa chasing after you, you didn't even bother alerting me or the other superiors?"

I blush at the thought of Mikasa but my attention was brought back to the captain standing up and leaving.

"Where are you going?!"

"To Y/n," he mumbled with a scowl as he stared ahead.

"Uhm, she's that way." I pointed to the opposite direction to where the captain was staring.

"Right, thanks Yeager." I nodded at the captain and followed right after him.

"What do you think you're doing?" The captain paused in his steps and turned to me.

"Uh, I have my stuff with Y/n and I'm sorta with Y/n?" I questioned myself.

The captain turned away and I followed him with Annie's lantern not leading the way.

We reached the dying warm fire and the captain removed his cloak and sat beside Y/n. I looked away after handing the lantern to him.

I tucked myself in and turned away from the captain's private moment.

Levi P.O.V

After hearing the snores of Eren, I turned my attention back to Y/n.

"What are you doing?" I softly asked her as I pushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her soft lips formed a pout as she turned on her side for a more comfortable position and groaned once her hand hit the tree that was next to me.

I quietly chuckled before tucking in Y/n. I stared at her pretty face. She's beautiful.

Once I felt that y/n was comfortable and was going to sleep warmly throughout the night, I leaned against the tree Y/n's hand had hit earlier.

Before closing my eyes I glared at the four titan shifters but my eyes softened at Y/n once her snores became noticeable.

"Sleep well, Love."

Morning came and the sunlight shone onto my love.

I bit my lips as Y/n's eyelids started fluttering, alerting that she was about to awake from her slumber.

I felt stares on me and I looked at the five that were awake.

Earlier they had all wakened up before dawn and I had a really 'nice' conversation with them. They did explain their situation and I decided to loosen up on them. Afterall they were Y/n's first friends and Annie was like her sister.

I gave Annie a soft smile and she nodded her head and stared lovingly at Bertholdt.

"Levi?" A strained tired voice called my name and I stared at Y/n with love.

"Good morning, Darling."

She furiously blushed at the new nickname I gave her but turned into a tomato when I kissed her head.
