Danielle Rodriguez joins Chicago P.D.'s Intelligence Unit. After some time, Hank Voight takes a liking to her, but he isn't the only one. So, what happens when Voight wants to break his cardinal rule of no in-house romance?
A/N: The author does not...
Saturday, Jeremiah's birthday (1) "Let's go in your car." Antonio tells his girlfriend who smiles at the idea. "Seriously?" She asks, grabbing her car keys from his kitchen counter. "Mhm, lil' Miss Gangster gets to drive today." Al answers, hearing her laugh at his answer. "I promise I'll keep the music to a minimum." She says as Hank holds the front door open for all of them as they leave Antonio's house. "Your music doesn't bother us, love." He tells her. "By the way, you look so cozy." Al tells her as he holds her hand, letting go when they're near the car:

"I bet $10 bucks to you both that Jeremiah's gonna be all over her." Antonio tells Hank and Al. "Make it $25 and you've got yourself a deal." Hank tells him, the two shaking on it. Al silently opens his wallet before he and Antonio get into the back seat of their girlfriend's Magnum, handing Dawson $25. "We didn't shake on it." Antonio tells Olinsky in confusion as he reaches over the roof of the car to take the money. "Don't have to. It's her and her nephew that loves her bits and vice versa, so I'd lose anyway." Al says with a small smile before getting in, closing the door behind him as Antonio does the same. As they buckle up, Danielle looks through her music for a song that thumps, settling on 'Make Me Better' by Fabolous featuring Ne-Yo. She puts the volume at 15 so it's loud enough for bass to be felt but not have the lyrics blaring as she starts driving. "You plus me-it equal better math,ya boy a good look, but she my better half, I'm already bossin', already flossin' but why have the cake if it ain't got the sweet frostin'? (Yep, yep, yep, yep)You're keepin' me on my A-game (what, what, what, what) without havin' the same name (that, that, that, that, that), they may flame (but, but, but, but), but, shawty, we burn it up, the sag in my swag, pep in my step, daddy do the Gucci, mami in Giuseppe's, guess it's a G thing, whenever we swing, I'm a need Coretta Scott if I'm gonna be king." Fabolous raps the first verse, Danielle getting lost in thought as she drives. 'That is totally Tonio's verse.' She thinks to herself as she hums along with the chorus before softly rapping the second verse. "First thing's first, I does what I do,but everything I am, she's my improve, I'm already boss, I'm already fly, but if I'm a star, she is the sky (ah, ah, ah) and when I feel like I'm on top (she, she, she) she give me reason to not stop (eh, eh, eh, eh, eh) and though I'm hot (to, to, to) together, we burn it up, the caked-up cut, the cleaned-up ice, when shawty come around, I clean up nice, dynamic duo-Batman and Robin, whoever don't like it, it's that man problem (eh, eh, eh) and when I feel like I'm tired (ma, ma, ma), mami be takin' me higher (ah, ah, ah, ah, ah)I'm on fire (but, but, but),but, shawty, we burn itup." 'That's totally Al.' "That's something you'd say. That she's your improve." Antonio tells Al, Danielle gasping with a small smile. "That's exactly what I was thinking!" "The first part was all you." Hank tells Dawson who nods a bit. "Hah, yeah, I won't deny that." He says with a smile. "Inside every great man you can find a woman, like a soldier, holdin' him down, and she treats me like a Don, watches for the hit, checks where I go, even watches who I'm with, the right when I'm wrong, so I never slip, show me how to move, that's why I never trip, and, baby girl, you so major they should front-page ya (front-page ya)God bless the parents who made ya (who made ya), middle-finger anybody who hate theway that we burn it up.I'm a movement by myself, but I'm a force when we're together, mami, I'm good all by myself, but, baby, you, you make me better, (You make me better), you make me better, (You make me better), you make me better, (You make me better), you make me better, (You make me better), you make me better." The last verse and chorus play before the song ends, another one starting up. "That was totally you." Al, Antonio, and Danielle say to Hank who laughs a bit. "Not all of you at the same time now." He jokes, the four laughing a bit as they keep listening to music. ~15 minutes later~ "Watch this." Danielle says as she chooses a rap song before pulling up to María and Julian's home. 'Mercy' by Kanye West blares from the car as she puts her window all the way down. "5, 4, 3, 2,...1." She happily counts down once she's parked behind Scar's low rider, and just as the beat drops, Demon, Scar, Psycho, Michael, and Ace walk out of the house, all of them wearing smiles. "Yooooooo, this is my jam!!" Demon says as he dances his way to the Magnum, Michael doing the same, Jeremiah walking behind them, trying to mimic his uncles' dance moves. "Aun Danewe!" The toddler says with a big smile as he looks up at her from the sidewalk. "Aww, Jer, look at you! You look so adorable!" Danielle gushes happily, opening the door once Demon is holding their nephew and getting out of her car. Jeremiah holds his arms out to her, Danielle taking him in hers as they hug each other. "Oh my gosh, you have a puppy shirt? What kind of dog is that, bud?" She asks with a smile as she points to the dog on his shirt:
