Revelation: Wanda Maximoff x Reader

Chapter 21

Wanda sighed once she felt the ground beneath her feet once again. She was actually making headway, but she assumed y/n had woken up or whatever she does to get inside her head. She wondered if y/n could get into anyone else's head. She hoped y/n would come back and take over again so that Wanda could explain herself, especially what happened with Loki.

Wanda sighed as she fell back onto her bed and grumbled. She stayed there for a while, just thinking about what to do. She then decided to get up and go check on Vision since he seemed to be ignoring her. She knocked on his door and waited. "Vis, it's me. Open the door," Wanda said. Vision opened the door, his room was very organized, what else would one expect from an android?

"You've been avoiding me, why?" Wanda asked him as he just stood in front of her. He didn't answer her, he simply looked down at the ground. "Vis, answer me," she put her hand up to his cheek to make him look up at her. 

"I know you have feelings for y/n. The way you cared about her yesterday, I know you'd never feel that way about me," Vision said solemnly. Wanda dropped her hand and took a step back surprised by what he had said. 

"What? I- I don't have feelings for her. I barely know her," Wanda said defensively. "Wanda, don't kid yourself. I want you to be happy, and you were so happy when she was here. Ever since she left you've balled yourself up. I'm not mad, I can get over this. But, I want you to promise me that you'll do whatever it takes for you to win her back. I want you to be happy," Vision took Wanda's hand and kissed her knuckle.

"I think she seems to be getting it on with that other girl, so I don't think I can do it. And she's also on a different planet," Wanda grumbled. "Well with what we know about Loki, it seems like he has something planned. Has y/n taken control of you since yesterday?" Wanda nodded her head. "Then you need to tell her about Loki somehow. And the team needs to talk to her as well," Vision explained.

"We have to do it slowly, I don't want to overwhelm her like last time," Wanda stated. "I just want to spend some time regaining her trust."

Nat came out of her bedroom to see Wanda standing in front of Vision. She knew something was up by the look of Vision's demeanor, but she didn't want to intrude so she quietly walked to the stairs. 

Wanda and Vision concluded that they would wait a week before telling the rest of the team about y/n possessing Wanda so that they can make a game plan. Wanda went back to her room, but she paused seeing y/n's door open when the two of them entered earlier. She hesitantly walked inside, she held her breath. It still smelled like her. She walked to the dresser which contained some of y/n's clothing she left behind. Wanda picked up the t-shirt y/n borrowed from her and lifted it to her face, taking in the scent. Tears stung Wanda's eyes, a pit grew in her stomach. 

The part of her that died with Pietro was filled up when y/n came, but now it was left open again.

*Asgard* 

After hanging out with Thor all morning, y/n was eager to work with Loki to train her. Loki brought her to a secluded field and the two sat across from each other about 3 feet apart. "So, first I want you to close your eyes and relax. You need to feel your power. You've been out of touch with it for so long that it may be frustrating to not feel it at first, but it is there. You just need to relax your mind and feel deep," Loki said in a tranquil voice.

Y/n obeyed and shut her eyes, taking deep breaths to relax. She thought of a faint Sokovian voice telling her everything is going to be okay. She imagined her holding her as she trembled in her arms after her panic attacks. She remembered the carrot cake that she was so proud of. Y/n gasped when Loki cleared his throat, bringing her back to reality.

"Well, that obviously didn't work. What powers do you know of if there are any?" Loki rubbed the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger. "I know I have some kind of strength thanks to the super-soldier serum, and uh-" y/n hesitated "I've also been able to possess people, but I've only been able to do it with one person." Loki looked up in astonishment. "Wow, if you can control that then you could stop the mightiest of foes," he smirked.

"I guess, but I've only been able to do it with one person who I was particularly close to," y/n sighs. "It's Wanda isn't it," he replied with a dull voice. "I could tell you two have some history, there was quite a bit of tension during that fight if it went on any longer then I think you guys could have slammed each other against a wall and-" 

"Shut up!" y/n's face turning a beet red. "Y/n we can't have that," Loki tuts as he gets up and walks towards y/n. He aggressively pulled her chin to make her face him. "You need to let go of your attachments so you can be your most powerful self. She's going to weigh you down, my dear. And if you're not at your most powerful then oh how are we going to take over HYDRA?" Loki seethed. 

"Please don't touch me," y/n growled shooting daggers into Loki's eyes, but he only gripped her face harder. Y/n punched Loki hard in the stomach sending him flying across the field. He groaned as he got back up, "If you keep at this then I'm going to make sure you never see Wanda again."

Y/n finally snapped, her eyes glowed yellow and shot lasers at Loki who jumped out of the way to avoid them. She was shooting yellow orbs at him from her hands trying to knock him down, but he kept getting out of the way in just the knick of time. Thor suddenly came out of nowhere after hearing the commotion. He did a double-take seeing y/n floating slightly off the ground attacking Loki, but he then struck Mjolnir at the ground to distract her from attacking his brother.

Y/n snapped her head towards Thor and began to attack him. Surprisingly, she was winning. His thunderclaps and lightning bolts were no match for her energy shields and laser eyes. Then, y/n let her guard down when she saw Valkyrie with a saddened face, seemingly disappointed at her. At this moment, Loki grabbed a hammer to knock her out, but y/n could sense it and she possessed his body. Her physical body was gone, nowhere to be found, it somehow went inside of Loki's. 

Since Loki couldn't read minds like Wanda, the two couldn't communicate subconsciously, all he could do was watch as y/n stood there in his body smirking. She looked down at her hands and looked back up to see Thor and Valkyrie standing there with their jaws dropped. Y/n threw the hammer as far as she could before leaving his body. 

Loki bent over, coughing for air. "Well, my plan worked it looks like," he managed to say in-between his coughs. "What the hell do you mean," y/n hissed looking back at the man who threatened her not too long ago. "I was just trying to provoke you to use your powers, and it worked," he chuckled out of breath. 

Y/n punched him one last time in the face which knocked him out before walking off to somewhere that wasn't here or the palace. Thor and Valkyrie stood there confused as to what led to this, but they helped Loki to the infirmary as y/n went on a walk to cool off.
