Valkyrie brought y/n back to the palace since she was still feeling disoriented. Y/n wasn't ready to come back to Asgard, but her body sat out there for hours and was getting dehydrated. If she stayed with Wanda any longer, her body most certainly would have given out.

She laid y/n down on her bed and caressed her face, silently admiring her. "You scared all of us you know. We couldn't find you for so long. I'm going to go get you some water and something to eat," Valkyrie assured, but y/n grabbed her wrist just as she turned around.

"Please don't have anyone else come in here, I'm not in the mood for Thor's voice booming into my ears and adding to my migraine," y/n gave a weak smile and Valkyrie nodded with a smile back.

When she stepped out, y/n sighed and covered her face with her hands. What was she going to do? She didn't want to go see Loki, but a part of her felt guilty for beating him up so harshly. She knew that he wasn't going to be a great instructor, so maybe she can have Thor help her instead. Loki pushed her too far, and it was only her first day of training, so he definitely wasn't going to make it any easier going forward.

Then her mind began to wander off thinking about Wanda once again. Y/n liked how her cocky self was reemerging after being suppressed for so long. She was starting to feel like her former self again, but it was mainly around Wanda.

What was she going to do about her feelings for Wanda? What about Val? God, she felt so conflicted to the point where her eyes began to glow yellow from frustration, her powers were unstable and she barely held a grasp on them. The migraine she was having worsened, a sharp throbbing pain radiated from her temples to throughout her entire head.

Soon enough, Valkyrie came back with a tray of food and a chalice of water. Y/n sat up to accept the food, but Val sat down beside her and kept the tray on her lap. She first handed y/n the water to which she gulped down, slightly alleviating her migraine.

Val then held the bowl of soup in her hands and brought the spoon up to y/n. She hesitated, eyeing the spoon filled with broth before looking back up to Val who was smiling. "C'mon, open up," Val insisted and y/n opened her mouth. The soup tasted delicious, well, y/n hadn't had soup in years so anything tasted delicious as long as it was actual food.

The soup began to dribble down y/n's chin, so Valkyrie placed the spoon back in the bowl and used her thumb to wipe it off. Y/n's breath hitched when Val licked the drop of soup off of her thumb, making Val smirk. She continued to feed y/n until the bowl was empty.

"Thank you," y/n said, taking Val's hand in gratitude. "Of course, but please. Next time you go meditate or whatever the hell you were doing, tell me where you're going. I know we haven't known each other for too long, but I'm growing quite fond of you, y/n," Valkyrie professed, but she was met with y/n's speechless face.

Y/n was now in some deep shit and had no clue out to dig herself out.

Valkyrie cleared her throat to change the subject after she realized y/n was getting flustered. "Loki's doing okay, he's just a little bruised and has a busted lip. Other than deeply hurting his ego, he'll be okay."

Y/n bit the inside of her cheek trying to come up with a good response. "He threatened me, he threatened to hurt someone I care about and I lashed out. I still feel bad for what I did to him though," she sighed, her eyes threatening to spill water. She was afraid of hurting others, especially after being Hydra's puppet and being sent out to kill people.

"Hey, it's not your fault. You'll be able to master your powers in no time, don't be afraid of your power. I'll be there to help, we'll all be there to help," Val soothed her and brought her hand up to y/n's cheek and she leaned into her touch.

"I'll take your word for it," y/n gave Valkyrie a smile that actually reached her eyes this time.

"Get some sleep, I'll be in the next room if you need me," Val kissed her cheek and took the tray to leave her room.

Y/n flopped onto her bed and turned to her side. She was exhausted after today's events since she exerted so much energy that day. Her eyes lulled shut and fell asleep rather quickly which she didn't mind.

Like always, y/n's dreams replayed the most traumatic experiences in her life. It would begin with her parents' death. She saw their once lively faces, the faces that expressed their love for her with a kiss or smile, lose all of the life with one shot of a gun through their chests. Y/n shielded her sister from witnessing the tragedy by picking her up and covering her head with her arms.

Y/n sprinted as fast as she could, but she knew it was a matter of time until Hydra caught up to her. To her surprise, they didn't. Once she caught her breath, y/n gently put Liv down on the ground, but then the floor fell and all of a sudden it was two years later.

The Hydra agents were dragging Liv away, but y/n attacked them to let her escape. She gave Liv one final hug before she ran off only to be shot dead in front of y/n. The pain in y/n's heart always remained from that day, even when her memories were wiped, her heart still felt the trauma. She then felt the headbutt from the gun and she was knocked out.

Then a new memory came, something different that y/n couldn't seem to remember seeing before. She curled up in the corner of her cell and was freezing cold. A few Hydra men came in and tried to snatch her, but she saw an opportunity for an escape. She booked it down the hall, but then she heard the sound of a tv which piqued her interest.

She found the source of the sound and y/n was speechless when she saw a young Wanda Maximoff looking up at a tiny tv in the top corner of her room. Before she could really take in the scene properly, y/n was struck in the head and blacked out.

She awoke in a chair, leather straps on her wrists and ankles preventing her from moving. There was something in her mouth that kept her from speaking and her head was tuck in place. Out of the corner of her eye there she saw was her cousin. Her heart dropped as Loki smirked next to the Hydra doctor and told him to start.

An excruciating pain traveled throughout her body from the electric shock. She couldn't breathe, the pain was unbearable. She screamed through the mouthguard, but if it wasn't there then she would have most certainly bit her tongue off.

Y/n sat up in her bed panting heavily from the nightmares. Was what she saw real? Was Loki actually there? Should she confront him? No, that wouldn't go over well. Her bed was drenched with sweat as was her body. It was still dark outside, but there was no way she could fall back asleep after that.

She took this opportunity to connect with Wanda once again, but first, she pushed a shelf in front of her door to prevent any disruptions this time. She then sat in the middle of her bed and meditated once again and allowed herself to think about the girl with beautiful emerald eyes.
