"My...my home!? As in India?" Kaenisa sputtered.
"Yes." The General confirmed, looking at her with an expression she couldn't quite place.
"Why?"
"There have been slight discrepancies in the energy levels surrounding the sites of the explosions." Asher explained.
"What does that mean?" Sarina asked innocently.
"The incidents each of you have been a part of....they weren't normal detonations. Humans have no idea what caused them."
"And...let me guess, you do, don't you?" Kaenisa asserted.
Asher looked at her with something like guilt before answering, "Yes. The explosions were caused by concentrated strikes."
When she, Sarina and Rolan just stared at him, The Lieutenant General continued, "They're....blasts of energy that have a catastrophic potential to destroy everything including reducing people and buildings to ashes." He explained.
"They are many types suited to different situations, but they used one of the deadliest one." Zaira murmured, "Sadists."
"Wait a minute, if it was neither humans nor you guys...then who's behind it? And....and who are they?" Sarina began to shoot question after question.
"Are they the sadists you just happened to mention? Are they behind this? And what do you mean by one of the deadliest?" Kaenisa probed carefully.
All eyes were trained on Zaira, who in turn looked at brother, a dark shadow creeping over the twins' faces as they answered in unison, "Eternus."
"What in the world?" Rolan wondered aloud, "What is Eternaas?"
"Firstly, it's not Etarnaas. It's Eternus. And secondly," Zaic paused, a hateful expression stealing over his face, "It's a planet."
Silence followed his revelation.
Kaenisa couldn't decide whether her ears had malfunctioned or the Prince misspoken. Because this was a bit too far-fetched, even after considering everything that had happened in the past months.
"So you're saying," She started, "That the explosions were purposefully orchestrated by another planet, who for some reason wants to destroy earth?"
Her voice had risen sometime during the conversation, and the plane had gone deathly quiet.
"You're right about everything except the last part." Zaic said.
Kaenisa stared at the Prince for a good long minute before realizing that he was being completely serious.
"Eternus does not wish to destroy Earth. It cannot." Zaira elucidated.
"Then what does this....planet, err...Eternaas, want?" The Russian ventured.
"It's Eternus." Kaenisa whispered, leaning towards him, at which Sarina snorted, causing all eyes to turn to her.
"Sorry. Sorry, continue." The Platinum Blonde mumbled, cheeks flushing.
"Eternus cannot and will not cause any harm to this planet, because Earth has something that it desperately wants."
"And what exactly is that?" She demanded.
"Ceruleaum." The General, who had been sitting at the far end of the craft with a grave countenance all this while, finally spoke.
"Are we supposed to know what that means?"
"No, less than a hundred humans do. It can be called the best kept secret of human history."
