"So , how'd you end up at Sade's house"

I looked up at Syna. We were both criss crossed on her bed asking each other questions about ourselves.

"Well I knew Sade through someone else but me and Sade got closer and started to hang out more. I got kicked out of my apartment because I couldn't pay my rent on time so I hit Sade up and asked to stay for awhile."

"Oh damn, you was working?"

"Yeah, I had just started working at Walmart. I struggled to get a job cause all these jobs out here was bull shittin. But soon as I got my job and me bribin them to wait on me to get the money for rent.. they kicked me out. Luckily Sade had me and we gotten even closer over the months."

"Yeah I remember Sade telling me a friend was staying with her but after months went by I had forgot. Then I went to visit and I got startled you was there."

"Ha.. yeah I remember.." I blushed.

It was more as to why I got kicked out but I don't wanna reveal that yet..

"Something on your mind?"

"Uh, nah just thinking of a question" I smiled.

"Let me just ask you questions now, if you don't mind" Syna spoke.

"Sure"

She then layed back and made a hmm noise with her mouth to be dramatic.

I hit her arm playfully.

"Stop" I laughed.

"Ok ok... do you still talk to your parents?"

"My mom is in Tennessee and my dad.. well he passed away when I was 6.. I was gonna stay in Tennessee with my mom so she wouldn't feel alone but as I got older she was complaining how she wanted to live alone again and blah blah so I moved here"

"What's your mom like?"

"She's the sweetest woman in the world, but she is very aggressive. We're complete opposites because I'm nowhere near aggressive like that" I laughed and shook my head.

Syna laughed.

"Wow, so you're both from Tennessee?"

"Yep, both born and raised"

"Cool cool. You know I wouldn't have thought we'd get to this point."

"Why do you say that?"

"You seemed like the type to not like bad women like me.. like you were a goody girl you know?"

I nodded my head.

"Then at my show.. I noticed you were very shy. I knew when I was on that stage you were in the crowd with your eyes glued on me."

"Now I wouldn't say glued per se but..." I spoke jokingly and she laughed at me , pushing me.

"Overtime though we grew this good bond and I'm happy we got closer"

I smiled. I haven't felt this way in a long long time. I can finally say I was happy with someone.

"So, how were you with relationships?"

"Weird you said that.. I haven't had a real girlfriend in over a year, going on two years"

"Why so long?"

"Well I was just too busy with my life. I never had time for the last girl I was with. I did feel bad so I had to let her go. As hard as it was .. it was for the best."
