Soya

[Sade POV]

It was Friday and I didn't have much to do today, so I decided to go look at this place that was available for the idea of a gym. It was about 25 minutes out, so I took the quick drive and suprisingly arrived there sooner than expected. I went inside and was greeted by some security that was at the front. They escorted me to an office and I sat there for about 5 minutes before being greeted by a woman, a very beautiful woman I must say.

"Hello, I'm sorry I came a little overtime. Im Soya!"

She held her hand out and I took hers in mines.

"Im Sade, oh and it's totally fine I'm in no rush... really." I examined her face.

"Ok, so I know when we were on the phone we briefly discussed your idea of you and your friend wanting to start a gym in this building, but I'd like to discuss more on it and I could help with anything else you'd need."

"Oh! So you're like an helping assistant or?"

"Something in that format. Ok, shall we?"

She went and sat at her desk and I scooted closer so I could examine the papers she laid out.

After about 30 minutes of conversation, we came to an agreement that we will be pending for approval. Not going to lie I was hella excited, but I kept my cool. I was more so excited to talk to Syna about it. She knew I came to check out the building and get us started up, but she couldn't make it in with me today because she had to make some business runs.

"Ok, I will keep you updated and send you an email on any updates and if I would need for you to come in."

"Ok thank you, I appreciate everything that you've done for me."

"It's honestly no problem", she flashed me a smile, but quickly looked back down at the stacks of paper I'm assuming she was gonna give me.

"So, from here I go home."

"Oh yes you can leave if you'd like.... or I don't know we could tour the place."

"That... that sounds fine. I don't want to start planning how I wanna set the place up and I don't get approved", I laughed.

She laughed with me.

"Oh no no, I'm very sure you'll be approved. Honestly, I'd start planning and celebrating now."

"Mmm how are you so sure?"

"Let's just say I added a personal note to securely lock the approval in."

I had to admit, she a real one for that.

"Oh really? You've done enough for me, what made you want to do that?"

"I see you really have invested into making this a great business. You look determined and excited when you talked me through all of your ideas, I was very intrigued, so therefore I will do everything I can to get you this building."

Shit it felt like I could tear up right now. All I could do was go to her and open my arms, hoping she would do the same. I gave her a big hug and couldn't help but thank her over and over again.

(After building tour)

"Welll alright Sade I will definitely be seeing you tomorrow. Make sure both you and your friend be here on time so we can move the process faster and get to signing papers."

"Ok, and hey... thank you again...", I was holding her arm and looking into her eyes.

"I-it's no problem. You have a um.. safe drive home. See you tomorrow."

"See you tomorrow."

I got into my car and exhaled the biggest sigh I never knew I held in.

"Fuck this is awesome!"

I sped home and parked in the driveway. I went inside the house and called for Syna.

"Synaaaa"

"Syna's still out, she say she'll be back in 10"

"Ah man ok. Well I'll just tell you the good news. We basically got approved for the building for the gym!"

"Oh my god that's gooood! She's gonna be so excited to hear this."

"I know I know."

"How did you seal it?"

"The lady that was assisting me gave them a personal note so she told me that I was basically approved... BUT she still told me to keep a lookout for some emails to come my way so..."

"Ahh, so the emails is the verification."

"Yurp. Depending on what these emails read, she wants Syna and I to come back tomorrow and just sign some papers and stuff and then we can get into setting everything up. It'll all definitely be a process, and she said she'll even help me... us.. through the whole thing because she sees 'potential', which I do appreciate alot."

"Is potential all she see?", Xeni side eyed me.

"Whaaat? Look it's just business!"

"Mmmhm, why else did she go ahead and approve the building and offer to help with everything else? She likes you."

"She doesn't even know me. Look let's not start to make up imaginary scenerios that aren't true."

"Aye I'm just sayinnnnng.", Xeni held her hands up in surrender mode.

We sat and chatted for about 30 minutes. The front door was suddenly heard.

"Oh Synnaaaa!" we both ran to the front like kids.

"Now what in the hell is going on? OHH how was it?!"

"Bitch we got approved! Well lemme resay it, we're 'basically' approved."

"Shit either way they both sound good! Pop open some bottles we getting lit tonight!"

"Let's just wait until tomorrow. Soya told me there was gonna be some emails come my way by tonight or tomorrow morning and when they do be on our way there asap."

"Oh say less.. uh and who's Soya?"

"Oh, she's the reason we got approved."

"Her new girlfriend", Xeni playfully batted her eyes.

"Go away Xeni" I laughed.

"What's this I hear about girlfriend? You like her?"

"No, Xeni just thinks Soya likes me because she got us approved for the building-"

"AND offered to help with everything else.."

"...anyways, she got us approved and she say its because she sees potential in us and our business flourishing."

"Oh how generous of her. I can't wait to meet her, she seems legit."

"Yeah... I guess I should go let Daria know."

"You just can't keep yoself from 'round her huh?"

"What? Pfft I totally- I definitely can stay away I mean tuh.. I won't go over there then."

"Oh ok. I'll be watchin ya location tonight."

"Ok fine, but I'll keep yall updated on those emails."

"Yes sir" Syna and Xeni started walking towards their room as I seperated and went to mines.

I closed my door and stripped free of my clothes. I collapsed down onto my bed. If my phone didn't start ringing I would've definitely knocked out. I grabbed my phone from under me.

Daria.

"Hello?"

"Hey... sorry to bother. Were you coming here tonight, if not it's fine I was a little tired anyways."

"I can't make it in tonight, I'll definitely stop by tomorrow after Syna and I go to this meeting. I'm so exhausteeddd." I moaned.

"Ok, what'd you do today that has you tired?"

"Meetings."

"Ahh ok."

"Yeah... we- we can sleep on the phone though if you'd like."

"Yeah, that would be nice."

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight."
