Is It Not Important?

(Xeni's POV) [Short]

"So, what do you have planned later?"

"Eh, go home, shower, chill out. Wassup?"

"Let's grab something to eat."

"Sounds cool to me. Let's meet up later tonight, around 6 maybe?"

"Bet."

It was about 4 o'clock so I got to go home and chill for about an hour. Syna and Sade were still out of town and she said she'd be back later tonight or early in the morning, so I was excited for them to come back home. I got to the house and took a shower.

It was coming around 6 and I was about to head out until I got a phone call.

"Hey, Im on my way out now."

"Ok, I was calling to make sure you didn't forget about me. OH.. wait, don't take that as flirting, I just love food... well I would've still went out to dinner but having company here and there doesn't sound bad."

"Stop rambling, I understood what you meant." I laughed...," But ok, I'm in my car now."

Once we hung up the phone I went to the address she sent me and was now on my way. The drive was about 10 minutes so it wasn't too far out. I arrived and headed inside. The restaurant's aroma made my stomach growl, making me realize how hungry I really was.

"Damn" I spoke to myself.

"Hey!"

I looked around the restaurant until I seen Luna sitting in a booth. I walked over and sat down.

"Hey, I'm starving!"

"Yeah me too, here's the menu."

I examined the menu and knew instantly I wanted pasta.

"I already know what I want."

"Ugh, don't tell me you're one of those pasta lovers." she rolled her eyes.

"Excuse me?! Don't hate on fettuccini!"

She laughed.

"I'm kidding, I'm getting the same thing."

Since we already knew what we wanted, the waitress only had to come visit our table once. In the meantime, Luna and I chatted.

"How's Syna been?"

"She's fine, we haven't really been talking since she's been away.. I hope everything is alright. I'm not too sure."

"Ahh, yeah I hope everything is fine."

Yes, Luna knew about Syna. Why would she not? Ofcourse our first encounter wasn't the best, and I was ghosting off, but I just felt maybe I gave her the wrong signals... so why not?

"Hey, you alright?"

Luna made me snap out of my thoughts.

"Oh.. yeah I'm fine."

Some time went by and we had already eaten our food. We decided to just come back to our house. I'm sure Syna wouldn't mind me having a friend over.

"So, what did you need help with?"

"I want to start like a youtube channel, but I honestly don't know where to start. I was wondering did you know anything about social media and stuff?"

She pulled out her phone and showed me her social media status.

"Wow! 100,000 subscribers? That's amazing! Help me." I mopped.

"Well, first you think of what you want to upload. What did you have in mind?"

"Cooking, some vlogs here and there, and definitely gym videos!"

"Ok ok that sounds good. So, since you already have that part, we just need equipment. I can send you links to good cameras and computer desktops, some tripods and all that good stuff. Just let me know what you would like and as a gift I will buy them for you." she smiled.

"Are you kidding me? Thank you so much!"

I stretched my arms out and she did the same, giving each other a tight hug. In between the hug, the door opened.. causing me to flinch. It just took me by suprise how sudden she came home. I excitedly went over to Syna to kiss all over her, but she placed her hand on my chest in a 'hold on' motion.

"Let me take care of this first."

I saw as Sade slowly stumbled in the house. The last thing I knew she needed was someone yelling in her ear asking what's wrong, so I just waited until Syna told me what happened.

"Hey, what hap-"

"We'll talk later." she froze as she slowly yet quickly examined Luna.

Syna helped Sade to her room. She looked pissed, honestly.

"Hey ima.... get going. Don't forget to send me what you like, well you can send it tomorrow it doesn't matter."

"Ok, you drive safe..."

I watched as she left out of the house and got inside her car. I locked the door back and was greeted to Syna walking back into the kitchen area.

"Who was that?"

"A friend I made at the gym."

"Oh. I had no clue about her. How long you guys been friends?" she now leaned against the kitchen counter.

"Syna.. let's not do this tonight."

"I'm not arguing, I'm simply asking you a question. Answer it."

"A few weeks. I didn't think letting you know was a big deal.."

"It's not. I would want to be aware of who's in our house."

"I'm sorry. It was my mistake."

"It's fine I just... I don't know.. with Sade and Daria breaking up I've just been having a moment of weakness when it came to our relationship. I know we don't have any issues, but it still became a thought."

"I understand.. I'm here, you can talk to me and I'll be here to reassure that everything is ok."

"Ok. Let's head to bed."

Should I tell her about Luna making a move on me.. or is that not important?
