The Station

I looked at the time and it read 4:28 AM. Daria and I just got home and I was tired as fuck. Soon as my head hit my pillow my phone vibrated. I hesitated to move but got up in case it was important. I looked at the contact, it was Syna. I let it ring, I'll call her when I woke back up.. shit whenever that was. I dozed off with Daria laying under me.

2:45 PM

I felt someone lightly shaking my body and I slowly opened my eyes to Daria over me.

"Baby. Syna's blowing you up." she gently spoke while rubbing her arms.

I grabbed my phone and seen I missed 5+ calls from Syna. I got up, heading to the bathroom and grabbing my phone. I called Syna back and waited for her to pick up. While I wet my ran I heard Syna pick up the phone.

"Aye where the fuck you been at?"

"Sleep nigga. What you want?"

"Me and Xeni finna pull up. You gotta tell us about last night dawg."

"Uhhh... let me come over there instead. Daria's not really comfortable with talking about this shit let alone me talking to yall about it in her face."

"Actually, have you eaten? Dumb question cause you just woke up. Meet me at IHop, it's on me"

"Alright, I'm finna start getting ready and heading over there now"

"Alright"

With that the phone call ended and I had just finished up washing my face. I brushed my teeth and freshened up. I went back into the room to see Daria knocked back out. I got dressed and made sure to give her a kiss on her forehead before leaving out. I left, locking the front door, and got into my car. Last night felt so surreal, I just want Daria to finally feel safe and happy. I frowned to myself, turning on some music and now heading to IHop.

- IHop

I was now in the IHop parking lot and I texted Syna to see if she was inside. She said yes and that she was located on the left side by the window. I got out my car, locking it, and walked in. I looked around and spotted them together talking. I got to their table and sat down.

"Wassup"

"Yoo, you doing alright? You went ghost last night I got worried"

"Yeah I'll explain in a minute"

As soon as I finished my sentence a waitress came over to get our drinks. After establishing what drinks we wanted, she left to get our drinks.

"Ok go on" Syna leaned on the table.

"Alright so I went inside the restaurant and seen that ask the customers were gone. The waitresses and shit were wiping down the tables and taking dishes to the back so I went up to one of them and asked where the manager's office was. She pointed to some door in the back so I walked to the back and knocked. I open the door and see this big buff dude open the door. Im like the fuck.." I laughed to myself.

".. so her asking me who I am and what i'm doing there. So I tell him I'm Daria's wife and he started acting strange. He all like.. 'Darias wife?!' . Blah blah so he asked me again what I'm doing there after I had already told him what the fuck I was there for, then he say 'ohh these my workers so what i do with them is none of your business'. So I whipped out the phone. Soon as I was about to call you bro he grabs my phone and throws it."

Syna started to get up and had this wide eyes expression on her face.

"Dawg??? Where is this nigga bruh?"
