I pretended as though I was stretching and I layed back down. I looked back to see Syna in her closet with her back turned to me, shirtless. I guess she thought I was still sleep so I pretended I was. I peeked my...
I heavily sighed as we pulled up in the driveway. I looked over at Xeni who had excited eyes.
"This is beautiful!"
"Very, the one I had before was more secretive and dark.. but we have nothing to be secretive about. I'm starting fresh!" I yelled dramatically.
Xeni laughed and hit my shoulder.
"Let's go baby."
We both got out of the car and met up with Sade and Daria eyeing the house down too.
"Damn Syna where you find one of these?"
"I've always had it but didn't know when I'd use it. Looks like im pretty lucky I kept it."
I grabbed my keys from my pocket and we all walked up to the door. I pushed the door open and we all flooded in the doorway. Daria was the last to come in so she closed the door back. Sade and I have been to California before, but we've never came and stayed in this house.
"Oh Im gonna love it here" Sade walked to go find the kitchen.

I laughed at her.
"Fat ass, we have to go get food to pack up that refrigerator. There's probably only condiments in there, I actually don't remember what's in there."
We all agreed that we'd unpack our things and go grocery shopping a little later whenever we didn't feel tired. Well the way I was feeling I wanted to go tomorrow and just order some pizza or something, but I know how Sade loves her midnight snacks. Once Sade established which room she liked we decided to start our unpacking process.
I was laid out on my bed with Xeni coming to sit next to me. She yawned and did her little stretch. She was so cute when she was tired.
"Hey baby I know you're tired so how about you relax here while I bring our stuff inside?"
"Aw babe I cant let you do that." she was about to get up.
"You know I don't mind, plus you could make our grocery list so when we get there we'll already know what to get."
"Ok, that actually sounds like a great idea."
"Good" I lifted myself up and kissed her on her lips. I got up where I was now on my feet and walked out to the car to grab our things.
- 2 Hours Later
"Is there anything left?" Sade sighed walking down the stairs.
"I think I still have like 2 more bags, you?"
"Ill check and see if that's everything. We can go grocery shopping after I take my nap."
I laughed at her being dramatic.
"Girl we've done way more shit that's required lots and lots of more energy and you're tired from carrying those bags?"
"It's more so the stairs that's taking me out." she laughed while out of breathe.
"Ahh I see"
We went out and grabbed any other belongings we could've forgotten and was now in the house. She locked the door back and we were in our separate rooms at the moment. I seen Xeni laid out sleep. I laid next to her and rubbed her back. She cuddled closer to me and grabbed me, now trapping me from moving.
"Babyyy" I lightly whispered in her ear.
She only tightened her grip.
"Baby I know you're up"
"Mmmm"
"Heyyyy get upp pleaseee"
"Fineee"
She slowly rose up and sat on top of me.
"When are we going grocery shopping?"
"Sade wanted to take a nap so whenever she gets up we can all go. You hungry?"
"A little yeah"
"I could doordash something to eat?"
"Dunkin" she smiled showing teeth.
I laughed at her getting excited.
"Ok babe, here use my phone and order it. I'm going to see what's already in that refrigerator."
She grabbed my phone as I got up and headed downstairs. I got to the kitchen and seen Daria already there, sitting at the island writing something down.
"Hey, you alright?"
"Yeah, just writing this stuff down.."
"Ahh ok"
I kept my focus on why I came downstairs in the first place. I opened the fridge and seen I had eggs and the regular condiments.. mayo, ketchup, ranch, etc. I grabbed everything and looked at the expiration dates. The eggs were a no go because I don't even remember when and who bought those. I guess I'll let the condiments go as well. I grabbed the trash can then realized... dumb ass there's no trash bags. Yeah I just have to wait until after we get everything to clean this out. Before I could walk off upstairs Daria called my name..
"Syna.. wait can I talk to you?"
"Uh yeah sure.. what's up?"
I had sat next to her at the island. She turned her body to me and sighed.
"I- I don't know how to say this.."
"Um are you alright?"
"Yeah.. just.."
What is she going on about..
I thought I was tripping when I seen her lean closer.. but she quickly rose up and threw herself on me. I didn't want to fall out of the chair so my quickest reaction was to catch her. Well catching her was kind of pointless because we ended up on the floor. She climbed on top of me straddling me.
"Im attracted to you.." she spoke while trying to kiss on my neck.
"Daria?! Wait what get up!"
I pulled her up off of me and looked her in her eyes.
"Syna I'm attracted to you.."
"I understand that, but where is this coming from?"
"I don't know it just recently came about.. Sade and I.. we aren't quite ok right now and.."
"Look I understand when you go through some trouble in a relationship your focus can go to other people.. but this isn't how you go about it. Being attracted to me is fine but thissss.." I circled us on the floor, "isnt ok."
"You're right.. I should go" she quickly got up and rushed off the other direction.
I got up, dusting my clothes off and confused yet feeling sorry for her.
