Syna's pov
We all gathered at the table and got comfortable in our seats.
"What do y'all have in mind to eat?" Sade asked.
"Im thinking a steak maybe? What about you guys?"
"Chicken fingers and fries" Xeni spoke.
I laughed at her and she joined.
"Nah im kidding, anything that involves pasta"
"That sounds good, I'm starving where the waiter at!" Sade loudly spoke.
"Sade stop that" Daria spoke playfully yet serious.
"Mmcht nah cause i'm hungry."
I seen as a blonde came to us quickly and pulled out her notepad.
After giving her our drinks, she left and told us she'd be with us shortly.
"Sooo... there's been a offer brought to me" I spoke, but specifically to Sade.
"For?"
"The club..."
She gave me a 'WTF' look. I nodded letting her know I felt the same way.
"What type of offer and who approached it to you?"
"Red"
"Mm, I haven't heard that name in years"
"Red... who's that?" Xeni spoke.
"She's the most known negotiator around the city.. I heard she doesn't take rejection well."
"What type of negotiator doesn't know how to accept 'no' ?"
"Apparently her.. I'm still figuring out what I want to do.. but I don't have long"
"Wait.. what's going to happen?" Xeni's face instantly read worry.
Before I could continue to speak, the waiter came back to the table asking for our orders. We gave her our orders and menus and she said she'd be back with our food momentarily.
"So.." Xeni turned to face me," What happens next?"
"Right now I don't want to think on what's next because it's frustrating.."
She nodded ok and I leaned over to kiss her forehead. I whispered lowly in her ear.
"I'm sorry baby, we can talk more in it when we get back to the house so I can think clearly. I just want to enjoy this moment tonight."
"Ok baby" she spoke lowly.
After eating, we decided to just head back to the house to discuss what our plans were on Red. We were going to go bowling, but bringing this to Sade's attention was needed so we could act fast. We arrived at Sade's house and got settled. Sade and I went to her room to talk privately.
"How long ago has she said this?"
"Almost a week"
"Almost a week? Syna do you understand how serious this is?"
"I'm very aware, I didn't want to worry you.. plus I have a plan"
"Plan? What plan?"
"I don't know if you'd want to... but we could move"
She gave me a blank expression.
"Move? Why would we move?"
