(Syna POV)(Daria in Media)

I was getting a phone call from Daria and went to step outside to take the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Syna how are you?"

"Im good, you heard the news on our gym?"

"Yes, that's actually what I was calling about. Did you have Soya's number?"

"Yes, you need it?"

"Yes, I'd appreciate it."

"Ok.... just sent."

"Thank you, I'll keep in touch."

She ended the phone call, I didn't think much of it though. I went back to my room and before you know it I heard a angry Sade coming towards the kitchen.

"Sade yo what's up?"

"Daria man. I can't catch a break!"

"Woah woah. What'd she do now?"

"Yesterday I took her out to get groceries right, but you know we went to grab something to eat first just because we haven't eaten all day. So we get back to her crib.. why is she pressin me about Soya?!"

Uh oh..

"... She all like 'Who is Soya' 'You know how I get with other females' I said Daria she's none of your business, no offense, but she's none of your business and what does she have to do with you right?"

"Mhm"

"So I had just left because I felt like she was trying me honestly. That's not even the funny part though. When we were out to eat she went through my phone when I went to the bathroom, and I know for a fact she only read the unread message because Soya told me goodnight AFTER WE WERE DISCUSSING ABOUT THE GYM!"

"Look, I think it's time you make a decision."

"I have to choose huh..."

"Yurp."

She sighed, grabbing the blunt I waited to smoke until I got to my room. But I insisted, she was emotionally tied.

"So.. funny thing. Daria actually just called me. She was asking did I have a certain number and me not thinking much into it.. I sent her the number."

"Number to whom?"

I sighed.

"Soya."

"What if she ruins our chances on the gym?"

"Do you really think she'd go that far?"

Sade's phone began to ring.

"Bro.. it's Soya."

"Answer! Pretend I'm not in the room."

"Ok... Hey, wassup."

"Um.. could we meet up and talk?"

"Sure! Is.. everything ok?"

"Yes, well I don't know yet. Come to my house."

"On my way."

Syna looked at me as if I was in trouble.

"What'd she say?"

"Come to her house right now."

"OOP"

"Syna... fuck what did Daria do...?"

"Aye bro just go talk to her and let me know what happens. Keep your head up. I'm finna go take a nap."

"Fine."

We dapped each other up and went our seperate ways.

• Soya's House

I knocked on the door and Soya appeared behind the door.

"Come in."

I stepped in.. anxious actually.

"Sit."

"You sure everything is al-"

"Someone texted me on this number and I'm not going to say im paranoid because I've had my house broken into before so if this is your fucking scam to try to rob me I swear-!"

"Soya relax. My ex girlfriend-"

"Oh not another one of these... what does she want? To fight me?"

"Hey hey Soya... listen to me."

I held both of her arms gently and we sat down on the couch.

"Daria and I used to date and we've been through such a rough patch. If I could explain everything she's been through you'd be suprised as to how she's still alive. That's not the point though... we've been fighting for awhile and I finally decided to go on a break with her to have some space. It's been a month and when I recently seen her she went through my phone and saw your message telling me goodnight. Her mind went to a totally different direction and she asked Syna for your number to I guess see who you were for herself. She's harmless honestly.. I'm actually going to talk with her right now. I do advise you to block her number I don't know if she'll say anymore reckless things, but I really do apologize for having you peek into my personal life and witnessing this breakup along with me. And I really really really hope this doesn't mess things up with us... our bond I mean.. a-and how you would view me after all of this is resolved."

I felt like she was probably confused on everything that was being said, but I honestly wouldn't expect anybody to truly understand Daria and why I dealt with her for so long.

"I understand..."

"You.... understand?"

"I had a insecure ex once. She tripped on any female customer I had. She even came up to my office trying to cut her."

What in the fuck.

"...But I eventually decided, and it is a hard decision to make, but I called it off. Permanently. We don't follow each other socials, we don't text, I actually changed my number so she doesn't have my contacts neither do I have hers, and I just recently moved so I'm officially starting fresh. I don't look at you any differently because I feel like you were just like me a year ago. I know that you're a wonderful person who wants nothing but the best for everyone, and would do anything to protect your family and friends closest to you. So no, do not think this ruins anything between us."

I was so relieved to hear this. I grabbed her into my arms and squeezed her into a hug. She hugged me back tightly and we sat there for a moment. I eventually detached from her and I said my goodbye's as I was now on my way to Daria's house.

It was time to end this.
