The Email

(Soya's POV)

I went outside to my car to grab my work binder, but I sat and sighed deeply. I needed to call my bestfriend for some help.

"Hello?"

"Helppp?"

"What happened? Where are you?"

"I'm at Sade's house. Her and Syna needed help with something, but she invited me over for dinner too.. and I stayed and ate.. and now-"

"You're falling for Sade?"

"Yes, but how'd you-"

"I can tell girl. I know you too well. Now, what are you guys doing now?"

"Well... we're about to watch a movie, but I was debating if I wanted to stay..."

"What's so wrong with that? I mean you guys are friends, right? How do you think she feels about you? She must be giving you the same energy back because you wouldn't just like her for no reason."

She was right. I mean, it's just a movie and I'll be on my way.

"You're right. Hey, I'll hit you later ok... and thank you."

"Ofcourse. Talk to you later."

I grabbed my binder and headed back inside. I went to Sade's room, but she wasn't there.

"Sade?"

Silence.

Eh, I'll just sit here until she's back. I was making this more awkward than it needed to be. After about 5 minutes, Sade came through the door.

"There you are. Syna's in the living room."

We all were gathered in the living room now to discuss the employees.

"So, positions?"

"Well, we do need janitors, some security, and people in the front to manage. I also know a few fitness trainors for the people who want personal help."

"Ok, well can you have the trainors come and we can all be introduced to each other. I'll make a few phones calls and we can all meet back at my office monday morning. I'll give you guys a time around tomorrow afternoon."

"Ok, cool. Thank you so much.... wait is that it?"

"Haha, yes. I know good people who want to work so I already have everything set up. Just let me know if you guys need anything else."

"Wow, you're awesome.." Syna spoke shockingly.

".. thank you and we'll definitely let you know anything else we need."

"Ok." I smiled.

"Well, you two kids go and play. I'm taking a nap."

Syna grinned and walked off. Sade looked over at me and laughed lowly. She began walking to her room & I followed. We entered the room and I sat on the bed. She closed the door and sat next to me.

"What movies are you into?"

"Comedy, Actions anddd.... OUU I loveee romance!"

"Romance huh? What romances have you watched?"

"Hitch, Original Sin, Fifty Shades of Grey.."

"What an interesting mix of romance."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. You know you can tell a person by the films they watch."

I had my eyes fixed on Sade.

"What type of person am I with the romance I watch?"

"Hmm, give me 2 more films."

"Deadly Illusions... 365 days.."

Sade's eyebrows rose up.

"Interesting romances. Well since some films are romantic comedies, yet very spicy and exotic with a little thrill...you're the naturally funny who isn't hard to get along with. You have a side that let others know to not cross you or it will not end up well. You also have this mysterious side, a very erotic side that's like no other."

How?

All I could do was smile, knowing on the inside I was screaming.

"So, is it true?"

Yes, but you can't know that.

"I won't deny or confirm."

"Hmm. Let's watch a comedy."

The rest of the day went by pretty slow. After I left from Sade's house I stopped by the grocery store for more groceries and took care of business down at the office. I finally arrived home and brung all of my things inside.

"Ugh, today felt like such a long day." I moaned to myself.

I sat my groceries on the counter and began putting stuff away. I heard a vibration sound and knew I was to expect a phone call. I grabbed it from the counter and saw it was Ramiah facetiming me. I answered the phone and sat her up so she could watch me put groceries up.

"Hey"

"Hey, you just got home?"

"Yeah, why?"

"What yall do?"

"Huh? Oh! No, girl I left like 3 hours ago. I needed to run some errands."

"Oooh ok." she stretched the "oh" dramatically.

I laughed.

"Oh my gosh. You must want me to fuck her huh?"

"DUH! She looks like she know what she doing, I mean I hope so compared to sa-"

"I get it! Girl I do not need sex. And with my client? I think not."

"Girl you can deny the feelings but I know it's there."

I sighed. I loved Ramiah, but sometimes she can be so wrong.

"Whatever. Next topic!"

"Haha... well besides them, what else do you have going on?"

I sat to think if anything else has happened, then I remembered.

"I got an email!"

"Ok you got an email?"

"Bitch. I got an email from The Beauty Palace"

"Oh my god, I haven't heard of that name in like 6 years!"

"Right. Girl apparently they're having a grand re-opening and was wondering if I'd do a opening act."

"Um yes?!"

"Uh, NO?! That's so my past. I don't think I'm even any good-"

"Any good? Bitch just you alone brought a full house! Do it."

"But that's not my life anymore..."

Ramiah sighed.

"Just take time to really think on it, ok?"

"Fine. But if I don't want to do it don't try and persuade me."

"Deal."
