Honestly..

Soya's POV

"Hey, Rick can you let me know when Sade gets here? She told me she was on her way about 20 minutes ago."

"Yeah sure, I'll send 'em in once they get here."

"Thanks."

I was about to head out of the office for today, but I got a call from Sade that she was stopping by to tell me some good news. I don't know if she'll be coming by herself, but hopefully I like this 'news' because Im ready to go home.

I haven't got to catch up with my bestfriend, so we were going out for drinks tonight... more so dinner. She told me once I left the office she was "giving me an hour to rest".

An hour my ass.

"Sade's here."

"Ok cool, bring her in."

I saw Sade come in and was followed by a few other dudes.

"Hello guys, Sade." I gave her a look to explain who the hell they were.

"Hello beloved Soya. What we have here today is your new cleaning crew. These guys are my family, and I would never ever recommend anyone that isn't willing to work hard no matter what. Anything you need they're there. I told them that you were going to go over the work they'd be doing and the payments. Oh! Let me introduce you..."

My mind went blurry. We literally were talking about this less than a week ago and she's already found a cleaning crew...

".... and Marc. You have any questions?"

"H-how did you...?"

"Ok.. I can't go too into detail on my past life... atleast not right now.." she chuckled..," BUT they've been there for Syna and I for awhile now and we definitely know they're loyal and you can trust them with anything. Well they're not doing the type of cleaning they used to do, but yeah if you want to let them know something and to keep it between them, yeah you can trust."

I sighed heavily, not wanting the tears to fill my eyes. I be getting emotional over any and everything.

"Thank you so much, Sade what could I ever do to repay you?" I got up and opened my arms.

"Haha we'll discuss that another time, but hey I'm about to head out, I just kinda wanted to share their names and faces so you can be familiar with them, also I'll text you all of their numbers. Sorry, I'm kind of in a rush." she laughed.

I was still sitting there in disbelief.

"O-ok. Hey... thank you again. Call me later and drive safe!"

"Ofcourse, come on guys."

I left out with them as well since I was already about to head out of the door. I was going to give Rick a call later to tell him the news. I was texting my bestfriend as I was walking out.

Me: Bitch.

Bestfr: what happened?

Me: We got some shit to talk about! I have to catch you up.

Bestfr: Bar?

Me: Yep, meet you in 5.

Honestly, my mind was just blank. I just wanted to go see my homegirl real quick so we can talk and catch up.

Bestfr: I'm outside

Me: me too

I got out of the car and we both met up at the front door.

"Ou girl who you tryna impress at the office with this lil skirt onnnn", she giggled.

"This is short?" I looked down and.. I mean I guess it was short.
