New Adjustments

Two Months Later (^^Sade in media^^)

(Syna's pov)

I walked into my office and headed right for my desk. I looked for some papers that I put in my dresser but couldn't find it.

I had a meeting in 10 minutes and lost my damn papers.

"Hey baby?!"

"Yeah??" I heard her respond from a distance.

"Have you seen m—"

She came out and had stacks of paper in her hands. I looked at her and smiled, taking her in my hands and kissing her. She smiled back, and handed me the papers.

"Here you go"

"Thank you"

I kissed her once more and again all over her face and watched her squirm in my arms. She was giggling and grabbing me to stop.

"Baby you have a meeting"

"Oh yeah, hey I'll be back by 10:30"

I examined my watch. It read 8:22. I kissed her lips one last time, savoring the taste, and leaving out of the door. I got in the car and started it up. I drove off, heading to my meeting.

(Xeni's pov)

Within the past few weeks I've felt greater than ever. Syna has been so understanding throughout this whole journey of me trying to get myself together. I took her up on her offer after all to start working with her, now im her partner. She set up the office that was on the first floor for me and even designed it up to how I liked. Even though I told her not to, I still love and appreciate it so much. We've been on this schedule where on the days she has meetings I take over any calls that come in from the club and if people who want to buy drugs leave a message for Syna to respond back to.

Doing this has actually been quite easy. I could get use to this.

(After Meeting)
(Syna's pov)

I had just left the meeting and arrived back home. I went straight into Xeni's office and didn't see her in there.

Hmm.

I looked in the kitchen.

Nope.

I got on the elevator and headed up to my room floor. I walked into my room and still didn't see her. Where in the hell was she? Finally it clicked.

Your office fool!

I walked to my office and seen Xeni at my desk on the phone with someone. I flashed her a smile and she smiled back, showing teeth. I held my hand up to tell her hold on so I could change my clothes. I went back to my room and took off my suit and shoes and placed them in the closet. I put on some grey shorts and my black tee and walked back to my office. I walked in and locked eyes with Xeni, watching her smile again. I motioned for her to stand up and she got the memo that I wanted her to sit on my lap. I sat down first and she sat down on me slowly, causing me to groan lowly.

"Yes it's open 24 hours"

I examined her as she spoke to whoever was on the other line. I traced my hands on her hips and up her back, playfully pulling her hair. I heard a moan slip from her lips but she placed it off as a cough. I chuckled to myself, doing it again, earning yet another moan from her. I watched her as she ended the conversation and hung up the phone. She looked back at me with her hand over her mouth.

"Baby" she laughed out.

"Yes ma'am?"

"I was on the phoneeee you can't be doing that"
