I Would Advise

(Sade's pov)

I just left Daria's temporary house and I just don't know what I want to do with her. It's like we've come so far and I don't usually open myself up to people, but she gives me such a hard time. I sighed heavily as I pulled back into my driveway. I got out of the car and went straight to my room to spark me one. I heard a knock before I could even find the blunt I previously rolled.

"Yeah?!"

Syna walked in.

"What happened?"

"Bullshit."

"Fell for the pussy huh?"

I smacked her arm.

"This isn't a joke. I think I want to end this."

"We already brought her all the way here with us to California. What you want to do send her back? Break all ties and leave her on her own?"

"Shit can she not just stay at your house until she gets on her feet?"

She sighed. I haven't just thought of how I would really just remove her from my life. I did my best to protect her, but if it wasn't one thing it was always another. I'd have to think on it, but for right now I just wanna smoke my blunt.

"Do whatever you need to. I'm with whatever you decide. I just wish we could've resolved this before we came here. You know for a good positive fresh start?"

"I know man and that's my fault... I just thought maybe her in a new environment would help her want better for us. Not even just for us but herself."

"Yeah I get you. Well I mean you could talk to Xeni about this stuff. I know she probably wanna rip her face off right now, but she does good with giving advice on these topics."

"Alright man I'll talk to her a little later. Can we go to the back & smoke?"

"Oh ofcourse"

Syna jumped up and down like a big kid. I laughed at her goofyness and followed her out the room.

We were out back just kicking it and smoking. We heard some commotion coming from the kitchen, but we knew it had to have been Xeni getting back from the gym.

"Hold on one minute let me go see my baby"

"You cool. Take your time bro" I exhaled smoke.

[Syna's POV]

I walked back inside and headed for the kitchen. I saw Xeni fiddling in the sink where I had the chicken thawing. I came up behind her and kissed on her neck. She turned her head to the side allowing me more access. I didn't want to get too carried away because I just wanted to stop in and make sure she was ok.

"Hey baby you ok? You look a little bothered. Did I do something?"

"What? Baby no! I just.. had a tough workout at the gym."

"Shit I see. You were gone for hours." I laughed.

She lightly chuckled, but it seemed a little forced. I didn't want to press her about it so I decided to go back outside. And ofcourse I'm not going to assume amything so it must've been something else bothering her. She'll tell me when she's ready.

"Well babe I'll leave you to it. I'm out back with Sade if you need me or both of us. Oh and Sade is gonna come to you for some advice about... you know who so be nice?"

She kissed my lips.

"Egh" she said jokingly.

[Daria's POV]

I know we established a break.. but it was killing me inside to not text Sade. I really hope we can maybe resolve this. I just feel like I'm a walking bad luck leader or something. I was casually scrolling on my phone when I got this random thought that there was no food here. I decided to door dash something to eat to the house. I didn't want door dash to be a everyday thing so I wanted to call Sade maybe in the morning to go get some light groceries for the house. Well maybe I should see if she's up now. I texted her phone and waited for about 20 minutes before she finally responded.

"Wassup? You alright?"

"Yes. Is it fine if we went grocery shopping? I didn't want to order food everyday."

"Yeah that's fine. When though?"

"In the morning?"

"Yeah that sounds cool?"

"Ok great, thank you I really appreciate it. Goodnight<3."

"Goodnight"

[Syna's POV]

"She just texted me."

"And said?"

"To take her grocery shopping in the morning."

"Aw yeah it's no food in the house. Damn so did she eat just now?"

"Um I would hope so. She mentioned about not having to order food everyday so I wanna say she just got her something to eat."

"Shit we need to find her a job. We all do."

"True. We'll figure something out, but we're over drugs."

"Most definitely."

"What was Xeni making for dinner?"

"You know what I don't know. She told me to take the chicken out to thaw. I just know it's gonna be good as fuck though."

"Hell yeah."

We smoked outside for a few more minutes and finally definitely to head inside to keep Xeni company.

"Hey babe, how's it going?"

"Oh it's going great."

"What were you actually making?"

"Just baked lemon pepper chicken wings with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. It's actually almost done just waiting on the potatoes."

"Damn how long were we outside for?"

"Maybe 2 hours?"

"See I'm finna stop smoking" Sade laughed while walking away.

"Bruh I swear that was like 30 minutes."

"Literally."

After conversing for about 15 minutes and fixing up our plates, Daria came up.

"Xeni look I need some real spill."

"What you mean?"

"I need advice."

"Here it comes."

"Daria and I.. like what do I do about her?"

"Does she make you happy?"

"I mean yeah but.."

"Be honest."

".. It's kinda hard to because of how stressful being with her has been. In the beginning I was feeling good because I helped with her ex and stuff but it was like her getting the job and her manager being a weirdo like it was ooonn goinngggg."
