(Syna's pov)

I slowly opened my eyes to a bright light. Turns to find out it was just the sun flashing through my big ass windows. I instantly noticed Xeni wasn't laying next to me and I got up quickly.

"Xeni?" I said lowly.

When I wake up my voice is raspy so I can barely talk. I got up and went right to the bathroom. I splashed my face with cold water to wake myself up. I wiped it off with a towel then left the restroom to look around the room for Xeni.

"Xeni? Babygirl?"

I reached the patio and slowly approached, seeing Xeni sitting on the couch and smoking a blunt.

"Baby"

She looked up at me and my heart broke. Her eye was bruised up purple and she had her hoodie on her head.

"Goodmorning" she said inaudibly.

"Goodmorning, why are you up so early?"

"Got woken up."

"By?"

"Pain."

"Hey.. I got pain pills in my draw if you want 'em"

"Yes please"

I went and grabbed the pills and a water bottle and sat outside with her. I sat it on the table and leaned back, putting my arm around Xeni. We sat in silence for a moment, until I spoke.

"So .... why didn't you tell me?"

She kept smoking her blunt, eventually putting it out and sighing heavily.

"I just didn't wanna make a big deal out of it.."

"Big deal how?"

"I wanted to keep it to myself because I didn't want to get involved with all the big stuff like what you do. I didn't feel I was ready for it all. Last night just proves that I'm not ready"

She leaned her head down on my shoulder and I wrapped both my arms around her as she sniffed.

"Hey baby don't say that. If I would've known I definitely would've stopped everything I was doing to help you and if it makes you feel better, you could definitely work with me"

"Really?"

"Absolutely" I smiled.

She got up, wiping her eyes, and looked at me.

"Ok , so where do we even began? I feel too coward-y to start anything today.", she dropped her shoulders.

"We don't have to start too soon if you don't want to"

With that, she kissed me on my lips and she layed her head back on my shoulder. I didn't mind sitting out on the patio today. I had a beautiful view and the morning weather was nice. It was about 6:30 going on 7 and we had watched the sun rise together. The wind blew but not too hard. We stayed outside for a good hour until I suggested to go inside and eat breakfast.

I watched as Xeni slowly made her way onto the bed, wrapping herself in the covers. I had already called my cooks to bring up the food when they were done so I had layed down with Xeni, cuddling up behind her. 

(Sade's pov)

It was 8 AM and I had just woke up. I had my arm wrapped around Daria as she slept. I lightly moved my arm and got up, heading to the bathroom to freshen up. I washed my face and brushed my teeth, then slipped on my robe. I went down to the kitchen, taking out the ingredients to make a omelet and popped some frozen sausage patties in the oven. I began making the omelet's but got a phone call from Syna. I pressed answer and sat my phone on the counter.
