Will You...?

(Syna's POV)

"You almost ready?"

"Putting my shoes on now babe!" I heard Xeni from afar.

I grabbed my bag and was waiting by the door. We had reservations to this restaurant, but we lost track of time and didn't want to be too late. We were so exhausted because we were up all night. We weren't doing the nasty... not all night at least. We were actually just talking about life... which was great because I was going to do something very special tonight.

I watched as Xeni walked up to me & I couldn't help but admire how beautiful she is.

"Babe come onnn, the car is outside." she came and pecked my lips.

"I want you to know that if that car wasn't outside, I'd make love to you right here.. right now."

I gave her this intense stare in her eyes. I saw as she glanced down at my lips. I cleared my throat and Xeni slapped my arm playfully. I couldn't help but laugh.

"Ok, let's go."

We got here a little late, but once we had our reservations situated, we were now sat and examining over the menu's. I couldn't help but think of what I wanted to talk with her about and I've been smiling since we arrived. I saw that she noticed, but she probably just assumed I was happy with how the trip was going so far. After we finalized what we wanted for dinner to the waiter, we handed him our menu and I locked eyes with Xeni.

"Hi baby."

"Baby, why are you so cheesy right now? Did I miss something?"

"No, I just want to tell you I love you."

"I love you more baby. What are you getting to eat?"

"The oyster pasta."

"Ouu that sounds delicious!"

"You sound delicious." I mumbled lowly.

The waiter came by with two long islands, nothing too strong. I watched Xe as I sipped on my drink.

"So, what's Sade doing back at the house?"

"I'm not too sure, but I do know we're all moving pretty soon..."

"Moving?"

"Me and you are.. Sade and I already had this discussion so we have everything thought out. She understands.."

"This is exciting babe! Where are we going?"

"I'll show you as soon as we get back home. But for right now.. I want to let you know something.." I grabbed her hands and lowered my head, trying not to release tears, ".. I want you to be there for me throughout this journey we call life. Everyday I wake up next to you I thank you so much for being here for me. I love how you came into my life and have been here for me through everything. We've came a long way, and after moving here to get a fresh start.. it's opened my eyes that I'm ready to do it baby.."

Her eyes were filling with tears. I wiped them away before they could fall.

"What are you ready for baby?"

I reached into my pocket and slowly pulled out a ring box. She tensed up and tightened her grip on my hand.

"Are you serious?" the tears were just flowing out of her eyes.

"Come here baby."

I came over to her and wrapped my arms around her as she lowered her head onto my chest.

"I want you to know that I love you so much and I want you here with me forever."

She leaned her head upwards and brought her lips to mine.
