High school sucks, we all know that. But there's one thing that sucks the hardest. That's what she said. Sorry I digress. Gym class, why? For a girl leukemia it sucks even worse. I always got picked last, but not anymore. "Alright class today we are playing volleyball." "Oh damn it." Once again, why? "The captains for the teams will be." Please be Blake please be Blake. "Blake and." Yes! "Sebastian." No! "Alright play rock, paper, scissors to see who goes first." Thankfully Blake won. "Okay Blake who will you pick first?" He smiled at me. "Julia." Yes.
"Alright Sebastian your pick?" "Gigi." Ew. Everyone else got picked. Blake picked Sawyer for me. The game was going great until I saw Blake fall to the floor. "Mr. James it's not your serve." "Oops." We we're so close to winning that's when Gigi had to be a bitch. I was walking back to my spot when something hit my head, hard. I fell to the floor, and I was seeing spots. "Julia are you okay?" "I'm fine Blake." "Ayo Sebastian control your girlfriend."
The day went on and my head hurt. Towards the end of the day I could not find Blake. That's when I saw him talking to Gigi. He looked my way and I ran out the door. "Babe? J-Julia, wait up." "Why are you talking to her?" "Trying to get her to apologize." I looked down and began to cry. Not because he was talking to her, but because I was just upset. "W-what's going on?" "I just wish I was a different person Blake. I wish I looked like Gigi acted like Sawyer and was as smart as Riley." "I don't. I don't think I would like you quite as much. I like this you." He leaned on and gave me a kiss.
Gigi walked past us. "Careful Blake, she might drop dead right in your arms." I pushed Blake away and tackled Gigi. We were punching and hair pulling, and of course I was winning. Until Blake pulled me off. "You freak!" "I may be a freak but at least I'm not a bitch." "Your just mad cause I'm confident!" "There's a different between confident and cocky. Here's an idea grow up! Stop making other people do your homework, and take you anger out on maybe a punching bag." I walked closer to her. "You push everyone around, and you may scare them. But not me. Your just a selfish little girl who needs her dolls to play with or she has a tantrum." "At least I'm not dying." "I can change that." "Is that a threat?" "Depends."
"Alright girls as much as everyone would love to stay watch, this is gonna have to stop. We have to go to math." Blake grabbed my hand and walked me away. "That was." "Embarrassing I know." "No, amazing." He stopped and stood in front of me. "Nobody has ever stood up to Gigi. Not even Sawyer. Your gonna go down in history at this school as the amazing girl who killed the witch. And I get to call that girl my girlfriend." I wish I could say we walked away and lived happy ever after but I can't. I went home after school and the video of the fight went viral. I wasn't known as the girl who took down Gigi, I was known as the girl with leukaemia and anger issues.
