                                      ——Tw——
"Gigi wait." "No Blake, you've done enough." I run after her. She runs into our shed In the back. I hadn't been in this shed since Dad left. It was his office, where he would run off to get away from everything. "Gigi?" I look in the corner to see her sitting with her knees in her chest crying. "Are you okay?" "I didn't want anybody to know. I thought they would look at me differently." "You know I wouldn't do that." "Not you, everyone else. I'm the it girl that everyone wants to be. But what no one understands that, being me sucks." "Being you may suck but you don't suck. Gigi tell me about that night." "I don't remember much, but I remember enough. It was last year at my Halloween party." "At your own house?" "In my own room. Blake and I went upstairs cause Blake wanted to ask me something. He went to the kitchen to grab something to eat, that's when Asher came in."

"And what did Blake do?" "He tried to get him off of me but Asher pushed Blake out and locked the door." I roll my eyes. "Blake tried." "Well not hard enough!" I lowered my voice. "Sorry, I didn't mean to yell." "Blake is a good person, and he does love you." "Blake let Asher do that to a lot of girls." "What?" "He's done what he did to you to a lot of other girls. But you never hear about them cause they all go to his school." "How many girls exactly?" "I don't know, but how he talked about it made it seem like maybe more than fifteen girls give or take a few." "This is gonna sound crazy, but I have an idea."

The next day at school was awkward. Mom still wasn't back from Nevada and the table was still broken. While at my locker Blake comes up to me. "Hey Julia." "Bye Blake." "You can't stay mad at me forever." "Actually I think I can." "What do you expect to do? Everybody was at that party, everyone saw what Asher did. What else to you want?" "Justice. And trust me, we have a plan." I began to walk away. "Wait what plan?" He grabs my wrist. Flash backs of last night rush through my head. "The first plan is for you to never touch me again. And you'll see the second plan sooner or later." "You can't get Asher in trouble. He'll lose every chance for a scholarship." "He should have thought about that sooner."

The fifth period bell rings and I go find Gigi. "You ready?" "As ready as I'll ever be." "You already emailed the guidance counselor right?" "Yeah she said she would bring Asher and his parents in and call us down." We go out separate ways to fifth period. I sit down in fifth period. The phone rings about fifteen minutes later. "Julia your needed in the office." "Okay." "They also need you Mr. McLain." Wait what now? Why do they need Blake? We both walk out and walk to the office. "What did you do Julia?" "I don't know why they called you down, I didn't tell them anything about you." "Wait, why? I should get in a lot of trouble." "Gigi helped me realize that, Asher has a power over you. He knows everything about you and has a lot of ways to black mail you. You were scared." "I was not scared." "They why did you hide it?" "Because I was, scared. Asher may not be smart, but he's smart enough to ruin someone's life." "Blake, you tried to help Gigi, and I know you regret not helping her more everyday. I can't take those the memories of what you saw that night away but I can help block them out with new ones." He looked into my eyes, and kissed me. For some stupid reason I kissed him back.

We walk down to the office and Asher is already there. So is Gigi's dad, and Blake's dad. "Dad? When did you get back in town?" "When I got the call from Julia that you were helping a rapist." Damn it. I forgot I made that late night drunk call. "Will you excuse me, I need to talk to her outside." He pulls me back out to the hall. "Why would you call him?" "I was drunk." "No. When your drunk I know you have more control than that. You had a different reason." "Why do you care? I'm just a ugly, fat, virgin. Right?" "Jules, I only said that to get him off of you." "There are a billion other things you could have said! And for some reason you said those. I don't know why you did, but it hurt." "I was making sure he didn't hurt you." "But you hurt me in the process of doing that! Tell me, is that how you really see me?" He stayed quite. "Is it?!" "Sometimes yes!"
