Oh school dances, how I despise the. Getting dressed up just to go dance in a room with a bunch of sweaty people you don't like. But I still go to them. When I got home I started getting ready. I would love to be doing anything else on a Friday night but no, I'm curling my hair. "Oh peach your gonna look great." "Yeah whatever." I put on all the makeup and the dress. But of course I'm not gonna wear heels. So converse it is. About two hours go by and I'm finally done. Mom takes pictures before Blake gets here. "Oh I forgot something in my room." I run up stairs." I go into my jewelry box to look for my favourite necklace, but it's gone. "No, no please." "Hey." "Seb, what are you doing here?" "I got you this." I open the little box he had handed me. It was a necklace that says Till Forever Falls Apart. Which is my favourite song and the one we danced to last night.
"It's beautiful Seb." I give it to him to put on me. "It's perfect." "Peach Blake's here!" "Shit um you better go." "Yeah I'll see you there." He steps out the window. "Goodbye kiss?" "Aw of course." I lean in and swerve him. "Maybe when I'm not gonna see you in fifteen minutes." I practically push Seb out the window and run downstairs. I was gonna do the slow motion walking down the stairs but that's stupid. "Wow, you look just wow." "Yeah I've heard that a lot today." "What?" "Nothing let's get these pictures taken." I stood by Blake and let my mom take a million pictures. "Alright you two, don't do anything I would do." "Mom it wasn't funny the first time around it's not gonna be funny now." "She's never said that to us." "No she said it when Seb and I." "Oh of course, Seb." We got in the car. "What's that supposed to mean."
"It's just it seems like your dating Seb more than your dating me." "Yeah and it seems like you dating Gigi more than your dating me." "Don't bring Gigi into this." "Why? You always bring people into situations, why can't I?" "There's a lot of things that I can do that you can't." "Like what Blake?" "That's not important." "Oh I know maybe it's that you have the rest of your life to do whatever and I don't. Or maybe you can drink alcohol, or you don't have to wake up every morning and take a cocktail of medications. Which one is it Blake? Please tell me." "Let's just go to the dance and have fun." "Yeah let's have so much freakin fun."
Screw Blake. He thinks he's all that doesn't he. He thinks I owe him something. We arrived at dance and the group was already there. "Girl you look hot." "You don't look to bad yourself Sawyer. And Ian you look very, yeah I can't compliment him." "It's okay Jules, you tried." "Have you guys seen Seb anywhere?" "He's standing outside the girls bathroom waiting for Gigi." I pull Sawyer over to the corner away from everyone. "He got me this necklace." "Isn't that your favorite song?" "Yeah." "Girl you sure you don't like him still?" "Positive." I'm about as good of liar as Pinocchio. "Hey Seb." Gigi cite me off "Hey Julia, oh my god I love your necklace, where did you get it?" "Um." I look at Seb. "Blake gave it to me." Why the hell would you say that! Seb looked at me. "Wow how nice of Blake." I could hear the sarcasm in his voice.
"Come on Babe, let's go dance." She's testing my patience. I run over to Blake. "Come on Babe, let's go dance." "Um okay." I drag him out to the dance floor. "Gigi does realize that grinding is not dancing." "Um you're doing the same thing she is, your just better at it." Oh my god, have I fell down to Gigi's level? Am I a bitch? "Babe do you think I'm a bitch?" He pulls away. "Is this a trap?" "No of course not." "Then yeah you can be." "Excuse me? Screw you." I go over to the punch bowl and grab a cup. I hear Gigi announce something. "Party at my house after the dance, no alcohol there's a lock on the cabinet after the last party." No this can not happen, I can't let her win. "How about you guys come over to my house?" "Julia what are you doing?" "Not now Seb. And there will be alcohol, oh and there's no way my mom will know cause she's in Nevada. So, party at my house!" What the hell did I just do?
