Nobody POV

He sat by the glass as he rest his hand on the pane above hers.

From here he could pretend that he was touching her hand, and that she would touch his.

And the world would be right again.

He pulled away as the sunlight caught his ring.

He missed her

Emilie.

She was the sun to his darkness, the comedy to his tragedy.

She had kept him from becoming who he was now.

He knew she would never forgive him for what he was doing.

Feeding on people that felt as terrible as he did.

Taking their emotions and using it for his own benefit.

But he

could

Not

Would

Not

Live

Without

Her.

He had once read a poem.

And when he read it he had felt whole. He had felt understood.

The lines seemed to match up perfectly with the tears in his eyes, every passage seemed to be telling the story of him.

He reads it every day. To remind himself that Emilie will come back and she will understand him.

Just like the poem, the poem that says.

Our mistakes are what make us lay awake at night, wondering how we
Went
So wrong
We used to lye in our mothers arms as she whispered all the goodness in the world to us
But now we stare into the darkness trying to bring back a better time.
But
It
Never
Works
For what's done is done and the only way
To move on
Is to let go
But we can't let go
So we carry out mistakes with us
Until we learn, until we fix
Us
(I know this is terrible I was just in the mood to write poetry ok)

He pulled the small book out of his pocket and began to read to her.

Hoping that somehow she would hear.

Somehow she would forgive him.

If, no when he got her back.

He set down the book and climbed into the elevator.

He took one last look at his love

Before he turned his back.

He would be back soon

But for now she was ripping his heart out

With every breath she didn't take

Yeah ok so I'm depressing what about

I KNOW THIS IS TERRIBLE BUT WHATEVER AND ITS SHORT OK FUCK IT IM BORED 😭
