Why Me (Book 1 to the Why Me Series)

Chapter 24- November 21 2014

          I was sitting in science class doing my work then Mina passed me a note.

       You know how next week is Ami's birthday and we aren't going to be here because of  Thanksgiving break. Well I was thinking today me, you and some of our friends could go to the mall after school and see Mockingjay. Are you in or naw.

         I smiled.

          HELL YAH!!!

    I gave the note back to Mina and she smiled. She then pasted the note to her boyfriend Jiro, then Hiro, then at lunch to Miru and Makoto. Everyone said they would be able to go but Miru. Later after school Mina told Ami about what she wanted to do and Ami said she would try to make it.

       I went home to tell my mom about going to the movies with my friends and she was okay with it. I quickly changed out of my uniform and into some other clothes then left. When I got to the mall Hiro, Jiro, and Mina were at Target waiting, we were there for awhile then we went up stairs. When we went up stairs Makoto was there waiting for us, we then bought our movie tickets and walked around the mall for awhile.

        "Kyoko, your mom doesn't know we are dating right" asked Hiro.

      "Nope. She just thinks you are one of my good friends" I said in reply. I am not alowed to date so I am dating Hiro in secret.

       "Oh okay. So this is basically a double date between you and me, and Mina and Jiro"

       "Yeah. With Makoto"

     "Yeah. I knew that" he said then winked at me.

        We all went to about 4 or 5 stores then we went and sat at the food court for awhile. Everyone was talking and laughing then I looked over to Hiro, I couldn't tell what he was saying but if I wasn't mistaken I think he was singing.

       "Are you singing. Hiro" I asked.

     "How do you know" he questioned.

    I smiled. "I just know. You have a good voice"

      He blushed a little and said "Thanks, it means a lot coming from you"

       "Yeah, I know" I said with a smile. About a minute or two later we went inside to get good seats. When my friends were in line waiting to get something to eat Hiro told me he kinda liked Hitomi and this other girl by the name of Aiko. I wasn't worried about Aiko because she was one of the popular girls but I was kinda pissed about Hitomi though.

       When we went to the into theater there was no one there. We all went to the very top and sat there. I took the seat next to Mina and at first Hiro was going to sit next to Jiro but Jiro didn't let him and told him to sit next to me. I laughed in my head and mouthed "Thank you" to Jiro.

        As I was sitting down doing nothing Hiro noticed I started to get bored, so he put his arm around me. Ew this is so gross now that I look back on it.

      I smiled and let out a small laugh "You know you don't have to do that if you don't want to"

       "I know. But your right I don't want to do this" he moved his arm from around me "I want to do this" then he put his head on my shoulder.

      "Okay" I said with a smile.

     "You sure" he said taking my hand.

      "Positive"

      "Okay"

BLAHHHHHHHH THIS IS SO DISGUSTING!!! KILL ME NOW!!

     Me and Hiro just sat there for awhile until a little more people began to come into the theater. The movie eventually started and Hiro kept on going on and off with holding my hand. About at the middle of the movie I looked over to Hiro who was looking at me and I completely paused.

I have never seen his eyes so big. I have never seen him look so happy and in love. He had a small smile on his face, but that was the biggest smile I have ever seen him smile. I began to blush and I gave him the same smile and look back.

      "Kyoko" he whispered.

      "Hiro" I whispered.

     "I love you" we both said.

     Hiro took my left hand and held it with care, then he put it on his lap and took his other hand and put it on top of my hand. Right then and there I felt like I was in a dream. A dream where I was hoping would never end.

This is the worst chapter...ever!
