Chapter 8 - Back to school

 Wellston - 07.03.20XX

John awoke with the first rays of the sun. When he got up from his bed he remembered that he was still in his old house.

After getting up from his bed, he picked up his phone and checked the time and date.

When he looked at the clock, he realized that it was 7 am, and when he looked at the date, it was the day ended his suspension from school.

John realized that he was running out of time, and hurriedly began to go to school, quickly getting dressed and having a snack from the kitchen, without tidying up his house.

On the way to school, thoughts were not missing from his mind.

'Wellston, it's been a month since I came here. And nothing has changed, as Remi said. But this time everything will be different. I'll try to make it different. This time I will be a better King.' John thought

 Wellston High - 07.03.20XX

When John appeared at the school door, he paused and stared at the school. Then he sighed and walked through the school door.

As soon as John stepped through the door, he saw Mr. Keene smiling in front of him.

"Welcome back, John. Nice to see you at Wellston again." Keene said

"Nice to see you again, Mr. Keene." John said

"Now John come with me. Principal Vaughn wants to see you." Keene said

"Okay" John said, and then he started going down the school corridors to the principal's office with Mr. Keene.

The students' eyes were on John as he walked down the school corridors. John overheard what some of the students were talking about.

"He's finally back, huh?"

"Can't be"

"What will happen now?"

"I hope he doesn't start attacking everybody in school again."

"Don't worry. Don't forget Seraphina here to protect us this time."

"I hope"

John sighed after hearing this and found himself in front of the principal's office door in the blink of an eye

"Come on in. Vaughn is waiting for you." Keene said

John walked in anxiously

Upon entering, Vaughn greeted him with a smiling face.

"Welcome, John. How are you?" Vaughn asked

"I'm better than before" John replied

"I hope you are. Because this is your last chance, John. Take your last chance well. I don't want any more exuberance in my school." Vaughn said

"My goal is that Mr. Vaughn. My first goal will be to solve the problem at school. And for that, I need your permission." John said

Vaughn was worried after what John had said and asked John what was on his mind.

"What's on your mind this time, John. As I said, I don't want any more trouble at school. What are you asking for permission?" Vaughn asked

"I want you to despise me a little more to solve problems in school. I have a plan in mind and I think it will solve the problem of violence in school." John said

Then John explained the plan he had in mind to the Headmaster

"Well, John, I let you. But if your plan doesn't work, I might have to expel you. Prepare yourself. You can go now." Vaughn said

John nodded and left the headmaster's office

After leaving the room, he looked at his watch and found it was 30 minutes before his first lesson began

"I have some free time. I guess it wouldn't be a problem if I spent it on the roof." John thought

 When John opened the door to the roof, he saw the person he had not seen in a month.

"SERA!"

When Seraphina heard the roof door open, she looked at the door and saw John in front of her and smiled.

"Well, well, who has turned away from his suspension" Sera said, leaning her back against the fence on the roof while sitting

"Nice to see you, Sera." John said

"Come sit next to me. We have too many topics to talk about." Sera said

Then John sat next to Sera and the two started chatting like they did in the old days.

They chatted for about 20 minutes and never once talked about the last fight.

"But John, I'm hurt that you didn't tell me when to go back to school. You could at least tell me." Sera said

"I wanted it to be a surprise. I had no other purpose." John said

Then Sera looked at her phone and realized it was time for class

"It was nice talking to you, John, but I have to go to class, see you later." Sera said

"Before you go, how about meeting after school? We'll go to Woaba Boba!" John asked

"I would love to, but I have work after school. Remi said she wanted to see us all at safe house. I would call you too, but I don't think you will come because there are no good memories about it." Sera said

'Don't worry I'll be there' John thought

"Okay then. See you later." John said

First Sera and then John left the roof and made their way to their classrooms.

When the lessons were over, John found himself outside the safe house door.

Through this door he had entered to attack before, this time he would have entered for a different purpose.

John sighed and opened the door and walked in
