"H-Hello" John said timidly
Cecile was surprised to see John at the door. Because it was the first time she saw John like this. She had to admit he wasn't bad at all
"Welcome. Come in, my family is waiting for you." Cecile said
John went in after he gave the bouquet to Cecile
Upon entering, he met Cecile's parents.
Her father was about 2 meters tall with gray short hair. Her mother was like a Cecile copy, only a little older version.
"John, this my dad Hyson and this is my mother Mendy" Cecile introduce her parents
"Sir, madam, I am very pleased to meet you." John said after bowing his head respectfully.
"Come on, there is no need to be so formal, you can call us by our name." Mendy said
"Let's go to the hall, we'll keep talking there." Mendy said
After everyone in the house went into the living room and sat on the seats, a meaningless silence occurred in the room.
Meanwhile, John and Cecile perished from trembling with excitement.
'Why am I so excited? Technically it's not meeting my girlfriend's family.' John thought
"Boy, your name was John, right?" Hyson asked
"Yes, sir." John replied
"Just call me Hyson." Hyson said in a cold voice
"Okay H-Hyson" John said nervously
This dialogue alone was enough to double John's stress.
"So you're the one my pumpkin fell in love with, huh?" Heyson asked again
'Pumpkin? Who's the pumpkin?' John thought
When John looked up questioningly, he saw Cecile reddened like a tomato.
'So the pumpkin, Cecile huh. hehe' John thought
"Yeah it's me, Hyson" John said
"Tell me, how did you two meet?" Hyson asked
"Cecile and I met for the first time in Turf Wars. Although it wasn't very sincere at first, we became more aware of each other as time passed." John said while looking at Cecile's face
Cecile was unwillingly red with embarrassing
Before John came to meet, John and Cecile had prepared the questions to be asked by Cecile's father.
But it impressed Cecile that John lied so easily without his voice shaking.
'He lied to the whole school for a year. This is what I shouldn't be surprised at.' Cecile thought
Hyson suddenly made an unexpected move and turned his head to Cecile and asked her a question.
"Cecile, what's John's favorite drink?" Hyson asked
Both John and Cecile were stunned by this sudden question. Neither expected Hyson to ask Cecile a question. They were never prepared for such questions just because they thought they were going to ask questions to John.
Cecile was confused about what to do, but she answered a question she knew the answer to the question without delay.
"Boba tea" Cecile replied
"Is this true John?" Hyson asked
"Yes, Hyson" John replied
Both of them were relieved that they had circumvented this question. But something caught in John's mind.
