Chapter 18 - EMBER

 Wellston - 16.03.20XX

Remi's mental health is not good at all.

After Blyke left school, she had been locked in her room for 2 days.

What she is really upset about is that she is the reason Blyke's expulsion from school. If she hadn't insisted on avenging her brother that day, perhaps Blyke would never have gone out on his own at night.

'It's my fault. Everything that happened to us this year is my fault. None of this would have happened to us if I had looked around a little more if I had noticed the state of the school a little more.' Remi thought

'Now Blyke is gone. My best friend who was always with me is gone. I don't know when I'll see him again. What am I supposed to do next?' Remi thought

Remi was distracted by such thoughts without getting out of bed for a long time. She was one step away from depression.

But Remi thought of going out. She had felt this way before, locked herself in her room, but everything was fine when she met John after going out and wandering that day.

It would be the same now. Remi would go out and wander in this mood, Blyke would appear in front of her while she was wandering, he would say everything was a prank and everything would return to its original state, wouldn't it?

Remi got up from her bed, hoping that his contemplation would happen, and prepared to go out. She went out after her preparation was finished.

If Remi knew what was going to happen to her that night, would she still want to go out?

At the same time of the same day, John came home from his meeting with Cecile and was lying on the sofa in his living room because he had no work for the rest of the day. He was bored with boredom.

While he was looking at the ceiling and wondering what to do, his phone rang suddenly.

When he picked up the phone, he realized that the caller was Adrion, and he picked up the phone and started talking.

"Heey John, how are you? It's been a long time since we met." Adrion asked excitedly

"I think I'm fine, how are things with you?" John asked calmly

"I'm fine too, I guess." Adrion said again excitedly.

Then there was silence for a while between the two. John knew Adrion was excited, but expected him to say why. When Adrion refused to say, John decided to ask him.

"Adrion, tell me why are you excited?" John asked

"John please help me. I'll ask Claire out, but I can't muster my courage." Adrion said excitedly

"I'm glad for you, but you asked the wrong guy, I have no relationship information dude," John said

"I know, John, I did not call you for relationship advice, but for encouragement." Adrion said 

"Thank you so much." John said in a tumbled voice

"How are your relationship situations? Have you lost your heart to someone?" Adrion asked

"Actually, there is someone. But I don't know what she thinks of me." John said

"Wow, I wasn't expecting to hear this from you. Anyway John I have to go, Claire's getting closer. See you later." Adrion said

"Good luck, buddy." John said

John confessed to Adrion that he loved someone.

'I'm sorry Cecile, but I couldn't tell you, the leader of the school's press team,' John thought
