The other girl. // Draco Malfoy

The date.

As we walk in their manor, Draco didn't say a word to me, I was truly disapointed in him but what can I do? His aunt told us to sit in their beautiful garden out back. I can see some of the chami dragon roam freely. While I was admiring them I felt a hand on my left thigh. It was Draco's, I flick his hand with my middle finger. "Tsk, what do you want?" I ask in an annoyed tone. "Mal I'm sorry, I should have told you this earlier." He said with a crack in his voice. I turn to him full of irritation. "Earlier? So this whole marriage thing was your idea or something?" I ask then glare at him. His face was frustrated but that doesn't stop me from being mad at him. "Mal no it wasn't my idea, I don't want to marry her! I want to marry you Mal. I love you." Draco said as he reach out to hold my hand. "Back of Malfoy, you chose her over me, and now you tell me that you love me?" I said with a scoff. Draco groan. "Mal please let me explain." I turn to him "Fine, explain." I said while crossing my arms.

"Astoria begged my dad because she wanted to be in my family because she always wanted to marry the heir of the scariest deatheater. I was force to be with her to protect you." 

"Protect me?" I said as I cut him off. "Protect me from what exactly?" 

Draco took a deep breath. "From the dark lord, if I denied my father's request I will be punished, and you will be killed." 

"Than let them kill me I don't care." I said in frustration.

"I can't let you die because of me Mal!" 

"Why not!" 

"Because I love you god damnit Mal! Don't you understand? I was force in to this. I don't want this. I don't want to marry her. And I surely don't want her as my wife. I want you Mal. I want you." Draco said in a soft way, a comforting way actually. We settle down then his aunt walk in with some tea.

"So how bout we set the date for you two love birds huh?" His aunt said while smiling sweetly at us. I looked down, Draco was already clearing his throat. "Aunt Mary, this isn't Astoria, this is my friend. Malloria Ryker." Draco said in a slow voice. I smile at her, she look confused at first but then smile back at me. "Goodness me I'm sorry then dear for calling you Astoria." His aunt siad while reaching for my hand. 

"It's fine really." I said with a big smile. No it's not fine. I said in my own thoughts trying to force on  a smile while I'm actually breaking on the inside.

Not long after that Draco's uncle walk in with a binder. "Here ya go sweetheart." He says in a rusky voice to his wife. His wife took it with a sweet smile, then she looked at me. "How bout you help me dear?" 

"Yea of course." 

"Hold your horses Astoria did you color you hair?" The uncle said, I looked at Draco's aunt to help me, she understood and got up and took her husband to the other room and not long after that they come back.

"Okay now are you ready?" She ask me and I nod. We then tried to cover how many that we could. After a few hours has gone, it was time that we should go home. His aunt insisted that we stay there one night, but we couldn't because we need to go back to Hogwarts. As we walk out the two huge wooden door his uncle ask him. "Ay Draco, are you sure you want to do it on that date?" Draco looked at me, and I just raise an eyebrow. "Yes, why do you ask?" "Oh no reason." We then said our goodbyes and went of.

"So we had our chami dragon shit now can we go home now malfoy?" I ask him while practically dragging my feet. "C'mon I want to show you something." Draco said as he practically drag my ass through the damn forest. We walk along a very long path, and at the very end there was a beautiful waterfall. The sun hit the water perfectly that made an illusion at made the water sparkle. Draco let go of my hand and stood there smiling widely. I walk slowly next to him, closing my eyes taking in the sweet scent of fresh air. It was truly magical. After that we went back.

"Mal, Im very sorry if you feel uncomfortable." Draco said in very concern tone.

I chuckle. "It's fine Draco, I actually enjoy that kind of stuff. At least the venue is goin to be nice because I planned it." I said while elbowing him. He smile. "Oh yea I forgot so when is the date again?" 

"After graduation, a few weeks after that." Draco said while adjusting his sleeve.

"Damn you are goin to be a husband at 19 huh? " I said while looking forward thinking how does this dimbo that had house elves since he was a baby goin to be a husband. 

"Well I'm not marrying the girl I love so I don't care that much." Draco said slowly. I didn't say anything because what more could I say. We went back in silence, I thanked him for helping me with my home work and went to Blaise's.
