Mattia's POV
"The mall?!" The excitement was so evident in her tone. She was so happy that we were at mall, out of all places.

"No!" I replied, with the same amount of enthusiasm.

"No?" She frowned. "Then why are we here?"

"Sky Zone!!" I cheered.

"Sky Zone?!" She didn't seem the least bit impressed.

"Yes! Do you not see the Sky Zone right next to the mall?" Rhiya looked over at Sky Zone, and gave the weirdest look.

"That place is for kids." She stated.

"Kids? Then I guess we're kids today cause that's where we're going."

"But- babe I wanna go to Victoria's Secret." She frowned.

"You got Victoria's Secret money? Oh, that's what I thought." I interlocked our fingers and lead the way across the street into Sky Zone. "You wanna go to Victoria's Secret and don't even know what they hiding. The secret is that they take your money. That's the damn secret."

"Stop that." I went to sign the waiver and such, then gave the electronic pen to Rhiya so she could sign.

She held the pen in her hand, then before she signed it, she scrolled up. She started reading the long ass waiver like we have time for that.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm reading the paper so I know what I'm signing."

"Do you not know what a waiver is? Sign the damn paper."

"You're such an ass." She mumbled, finally signing.

"Then let's leave." I decided.

"No, I already signed. Let's just get the socks."

"Nope, cause I'm such an ass, why would you wanna jump with me-"

"Don't start that, not here." I told her I was going to the bathroom, handing her the money. She walked over to the desk to get our socks, but there was some guy at the desk, smiling way too hard for my liking.

Suddenly I didn't have to go to the bathroom anymore. Especially when he made her laugh. Why did he do that? He came around the back counter and gave her a huge ass hug. See- no, this isn't gonna work.

I walked over there as they were pulling away, beginning to talk to each other. "Hey babe." I wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her temple. "Did you get our socks?"

"Did you use the bathroom?" She asked me.

"The bathrooms are closed right now." The guy responded, looking down at her. I saw his name tag which read, Devin. "But there's one next door once you walk into the mall, right across from VS." He informed.

"Bye." She whispered towards me, moving away.

"Oh no, I'm okay." I took the money that I gave her from her hands and handed it to the guy. "Two large-"

"Large is too big for me." She interrupted.

"Here's medium." Devin offered, passing her the socks.

"Thanks." I watched the interaction of her accepting them from him. They knew each other way too well. I paid, took my socks, and followed Rhiya to the tables, since she had already walked away.

"Who's that?" I asked, as casually as possible.

"A friend." She stated, changing into her socks.
