Chapter 22
Hindi ko maiwasang mapanganga. I continuously blinked because of amusement.
I went here expecting that... I will meet someone who's less handsome, little did I know... well...
He's not that!
I am mesmerized by his looks. Kung titignan mo nang maigi, you'll conclude that he is a celebrity. Those protruding eyes and sexy lips—oh my goodness. Maraming gwapong koreano, alam ko. Pero... kakaiba naman yata masiyado 'to? He's like the younger version of Lee Dong Wook!
"You can... close your mouth." His voice is like a rising storm.
Tumikhim ako, trying not to look so amazed.
Ano ba, Diana? Brace yourself! Lalaki lang iyan, okay?
"So... uhm, hi?"
He chuckled. Kinilabutan ako nang bahagya. Pati sa pagtawa gwapo, huh?
"Why do you look so awkward? Just... act naturally."
They are looking at us as if they're interested on what we're talking about. Nakakailang.
"Ah... yeah."
He licked his lips upon hearing my lame response. "I believe you didn't tell me your name. What is it?"
"Diana."
He smiled. "Nice to meet you, Diana."
"Nice to meet you too, Jun... ho?"
Nag-init ang pisngi ko nang tumawa siya. Tang ina. Oppa?
"Wala ka bang... err, english name?" Awkward kong tanong. Calling him Junho makes me cringe for no reason.
"Mayroon, Jennifer." He laughed again after seeing my reaction. "Joke lang. You can call me Wayne."
"Okay, cool."
"What do you want to eat?"
I want rice, ice cream, pasta, steak, fries, burger, iced tea, and many more. "Just water."
I want to leave a good impression on him.
Napairap ako on my own thought. Good impression my ass.
Wayne called the waitress and asked her to get some water for me. Sayang, tang ina. Maganda rin 'yong pang-IG story since it is served aesthetically pleasing.
"I didn't know you are shy in person." Biglang sabi niya.
I shrugged my shoulders. Shy? Ako? Not compatible. "I'm not. I'm just... running out of topic."
Natatawang tanong niya. "Kidding aside. Just... talk. You can ask me anything. Ang awkward ng atmosphere."
"Are you a celebrity or... something?"
"What? Of course, not!" Todo tanggi niya. "I'm a nursing student. Third year. Ikaw?"
