"(Y/n), no!"

A loud shot echoes through the dining hall.

Bright flashes eminate from me.

Levi's chest rises and falls rapidly, his arms stretched out to stop the alert cadets. Jean stands behind him with his swords prepared.

Steam escapes from the bullet hole in my temple.

"What..?" I whisper.

Armin's jaw is hanging low from shock.

"No..." I jerk my finger to squeeze the trigger but the gun is empty. "No, no, no, no, no."

My fingers graze over the wound but its disappeared. It's like nothing ever happened.

"(Y/n)-"

I point the gun at Levi. Hearing him say my name now breaks me.

He disarms me quickly and chucks the weapon aside.

"Are you fucking crazy?!" he screams.

I stammer.

His arms secure me against his body, and he walks me to his office. Levi sets me down on his bed and makes me tea. We both stay quiet. He takes the blanket behind me and places it around my shoulders.

Crazy.

I laugh quietly at the word.

"So we're not going to talk about what happened?" I ask.

The muscles in his arms flex through his shirt while he's pouring the boiling water into a cup.

"I'm a tita-"

"I know what you are," Levi blurts. He slams the pot down on his desk, some water spilling out on the counter. "Tch." I watch him clean it up.

Shotgun bullets sound from outside. I look at the window quickly as Levi snatches his swords. He grabs my arm and guides me out of the room.

I can barely hear Kenny's voice as we run.

"Who is that?" Armin asks, panting between words.

I keep my mouth shut.

"Kenny the Ripper," Levi responds.

"Wait. The man that killed thousands of soldiers?" Jean joins.

"Why is he here?" Armin presses.

We stop next to our other cadets. Kenny grins when he sees me and tips his hat slightly. But something's off. Now that I take a harder look, I notice he isn't looking at me, but rather behind me. I tilt my head over my shoulder to look at Levi. His eyes are cold.

"Thanks for leading me here" the man says to me.

He reloads his gun, but is stopped by the sword I threw. He looks at me with an expression I know too well. Levi steps in front of me, returning the exact look Kenny is making.

"Boy, you didn't get much taller last time I saw you," Kenny comments.

"You're outnumbered. Run back to your hole and stay there," Levi warns him, clutching his weapons tighter.

The murderer doesnt hesitate; he shoots Levi, only scratching his arm. It doesn't faze the captain.

"That's no way to treat your favorite uncle, little rat."

I take a step back.

"Uncle..?"

Levi looks back at me, softening his glare a little.

"Wait..."

I stumble backwards.

"You were there. That was you..?"
