Part 4 Chapter 1

I was an elite soldier in the vampire army, next to my sister. We were death dealers and we were good at it. But we were betrayed. Viktor, our leader, and the most powerful vampire was not the savior Selene and I was led to believe. Suddenly allies turned enemies. The vampire we had once protected wanted us dead. With the exception of one, Marcus. He was my best friend and brother. He wanted him and his brother to rise up and take over as they did in the dark ages. I couldn't allow that to happen. Then we found Michael, neither vampire nor lycan but a hybrid. We retaliated and killed the elders, including my brother. But then everything changed. Selene and I were captured. Selene did not know she was carrying Michael's daughter. Eve, my niece was the first pure-blood hybrid, whose blood could end the war, became highly sought after by both vampires and lycans alike. I had left Selene and Eve, so I could protect them from the world. So I could never lead it to the two last members of my bloodline.

I have lived beyond my years to find myself under another new moon. While Selene and I have both lost everything. Our coven, my brother, my mentor, and even my niece, all gone. I gained one thing. I almost didn't care to watch the moon if it wasn't for one man. David. He had found us when we found my niece. I don't know what caused me to become infatuated with him but I don't want to fight it. He and I went underground together. Fighting lycans whenever they came after us. During that time we became closer.

I walked out onto the terrace this morning, enjoying the feel of the sun on my skin for the first time in over 500 years. As I looked down at the humans who were oblivious to the war that was happening in the shadows I felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist and the feeling of lips and teeth nibbling at my neck. "Why are you awake, my love?" I ask the man while leaning into the feeling.

"I couldn't feel you. Come back to bed, darling." David's gruff voice spoke against my skin.

"I'm not tired," I tell him trying to keep myself from moaning from the feeling of his hands lowering themselves to my warm center.

"I never said go back to sleep." He pulls me back into our room and pins me against the wall and captures my lips against his. I pant against his lips as I tried to pull him closer. He pulled away and ripped the sheet off of my body before carrying me to our bed. "I love you" he whispers as he brushes my hair off of my neck.

I smiled at him. "I love you too" I admit to him before kissing him deeply and flip him over onto his back. I pulled away and began to leave kisses down his neck and chest leading all the way to his length.

"Don't tease me, Iris" he tells me as he runs his fingers through my hair. I chuckled and licked just the tip causing him to grip my hair. I took all that I could into my mouth and used my hands to pump the rest as I bobbed my head bringing him to the edge. He pulled my head back by my hair, making me look at him." As much as I love the feeling of your mouth on me, I think you deserve a treat." he pulled me off of the ground gently and laid me underneath him. I stopped him for a moment and pulled out a condom. He chuckled and put it on before kissing me gently and pushing himself into my warm sheath. I gasped at his length as he filled me up to the brim. He dipped his head into my neck and began sucking on it as he began to pump himself in and out of me. We continued like this for quite some time. I lost count on how many times he made me cum. By the time we were done, I couldn't move from where I was but David took me to the bathroom and grabbed a warm rag, and began to wipe away the sweat off of my body and the fluid running down my legs. "Rest, Iris. We have to find your sister." He tells me as he begins to wrap my robe around me. I nodded and lay my head on his chest as he held me. I started to fall asleep against him as he carried me to the bed.
