I held out my hand to my sister to help her up but she was still weak like I was. She kept struggling to pull herself up and I was struggling just trying to hold her. She kept kicking the container to see if she could get a grip on any part of it but as far as we could see, it wasn't working very well but we didn't give up. I was finally able to help pull her up after a few moments. Once she was on the container the car suddenly hit on the breaks, causing us to roll/fly forward off of the container and the cab of the truck. We only stopped rolling when we hit the ground. Neither of us moved from the ground for a moment but when we saw two men come out of the truck and walking to us with guns in their hands, we began to get ourselves up. I looked up to the one on the passenger side. He aimed his gun at me and shot me in my head forcing me to jerk my head to the left. 'That hurt' I looked back at him for I finally had enough of people shooting at me and my hunger was getting too strong. He attempted to shoot me once more but I ran at him full speed the arm that held the gun and forced it behind him. The sudden movement exposed his neck and I took that moment to sink my teeth into it. As I drank his blood, I could feel my strength and power returning to me and the bullet that was in my head was pushed out. I released my grip on him and panted from the rush I felt. When I released him, his body landed next to the other man's body who had a bite mark too. Selene looked at me, I guess to see if I was feeling better. I gave her a nod and we both stepped over the men's bodies.

We walked down the road, looking around the city. It seemed so different. Nearly no one was on the roads like they were before, no cars, no people, no one was out other than police. We continued to look around when we found an army-navy surplus store that was shut down by the government for some reason. The sign said something about an infection. 'This is a good place to restock on weapons. I doubt they have my sword or the dagger Amelia gave me.' I thought to myself before looking down at my bracelets. 'Luckily they didn't take my bracelets far from my clothes. I would have destroyed heaven and earth to find these. I miss you, Lady Amelia' I thought to myself before climbing the wall and broke through one of the high windows. Once we landed in the store Selene and I split off. She grabbed two different colored jackets while I went to the knives and blades area. I found a long dagger with a sheath and I strapped it to my right thigh before going to Selene. She threw me a black ankle-length jacket before we both walked towards the gun area. On our way there, Selene stopped and grabbed my wrist, stopping me from moving. "Selene? What's wrong?" I asked her. She just pointed at the display case. I walked closer to see why she stopped. It was filled with vampire weapons and containers that were labeled 'Vampire teeth' and 'Lycan teeth'. I backed away and looked up to see the sword that Marcus created for me and my dagger Lady Amelia forged for me. "My blades!" I jumped over the case and grabbed my sword and dagger off of the wall and landed on the ground. After I was on the ground again, sirens sounded.

"Iris, Let's go," Selene tells me before walking to the exit. I grabbed the sheaths to my blades and ran out of the store.

We went to the pier where we were supposed to meet Michael and get out of town. When we got there I noticed that the paint on the walls was faded and that there was a chain-linked fence that wasn't there before. Selene touched the gate looking out into the distance while I left her alone to her thoughts. I knew she and I were both wondering where Michael was and how much time had passed. I walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. She turned to me and I pointed upwards. She nodded and we both jumped over the fence. Once we stood back up after we landed, we took a few steps farther into the pier when a man yelled to us. "Hey, how did you two get in there?" we turned around to see a cop walking to the fence. "You two are not allowed in here." He reached for his belt and pulled out a key. "This pier is closed"

I was confused, wasn't it just open? "Since when?" Selene asked the cop.

"A long time ago. Come on" he grabbed the chain and padlock keeping the gate shut.

"How long?" I asked. I was so confused. It felt like it was open yesterday and that Michael was gonna come out and say gotcha. I reached out and grabbed Selene's hand for reassurance.

The cop finally found the key was looking for before looking at us confused before he answered. "About 12 years ago" I let out a shaken breath. Please tell me I was in a nightmare and I'll wake up any moment by Selene and Michael telling me it was time to eat. "Since the cleansing. Why?" I felt Selene's grip tighten and I started to feel tears build up in my eyes. " Are you two alright?" he asked us before his radio went off.

"Attention, all units, code three call" the person radioed "receiving a report of an assault, exit 39 underpasses. Possible non-human aggressors. Proceed with caution." Selene and I looked at him when the person on the radio mentioned the word 'non-human' and knew they were talking about us. "CDC already en route. All area units respond." We jumped onto a nearby building before he looked up.

When we landed on the building, I stood up and walked away from the edge before running at full speed to jump to the next building and then the next. All I could think of while we were leaving the pier was 'Where was Michael?

~Hello my little rabbits and mad hatters. Another chapter is done and another hardship the sisters have to go through. I hope I haven't disappointed you with this chapter. I already knew that this movie was gonna be hard to write because of the fact this movie was jumpy as all get out. I love the series but this was the worst movie of the series. Sorry if that offends anyone but that is just my opinion. Anyway thanks for reading. Love you guys
