Selene and I gathered the warriors of Var Dohr and headed to the eastern coven but I had to do something before I could leave. I rushed towards where Amelia's chambers were and took out Amelia's last fighting uniform she never got to wear but it was perfect for the necklace she gave me and the weapons belt Marcus gave. It was black with blood-red accents, the top was sleeveless and the pants held many holsters for daggers. I put it on and grabbed a fur coat from one of the soldiers, as I was leaving, I caught a glimpse of what I looked like. My eyes were pure white and my hair from the middle down was snow white. My features were more defined and my body was more structured. Coming back from the sacred world, enhanced not only my looks but my powers. I sped to where Selene was. We traveled ahead of the warrior and made it to the eastern coven in time for me to see Marius and David try to dominate one another. I had enough of watching my people die. I sped throughout the coven, killing many of the lycans with my dagger. I stopped at the last one in my path. I turned around to see everyone staring at me in awe. I slowly climbed down the stairs towards David. He met me in the middle before cupping my face in his hand. "My love" was all he said before kissing me deeply in which I returned before pulling away. "I saw you dead" He whispered against my lips.

"I'm here, David. So is Selene and we brought back up" I told him. He chuckled and was about to kiss me again when Marius roared out. I drew my sword in one hand and extended my claws in the other.

"There are too many of them," David confessed as we watched the lycans transform when suddenly a horn sounded. I smiled and watched as the nordic coven members charged in taking out lycans on the way. Two charged at us, swiping their claws. I sliced the one in front of me, hand off before pulling out the front of his neck with my new claws.

Selene appeared beside me and helped me and David take out the lycans that came to us. I watched as she and Marius made eye contact. "He's mine, Iris," she tells me.

"As long as I have Samira, have at it," I tell her before she speeds away, taunting the beast. I turned to David. "Help the others. There is something I have to do." I sped off in the same direction as Selene but I began to hunt for a certain snake that slithered in these walls. I did not have to wait long when Samira decided to attack me with her sword. I blocked her attacks with ease. "Getting sloppy, Samira. You would think after all these centuries, you would have gotten better with the sword." I taunted kicking her in the stomach, causing her to fly into a room.

She quickly landed on her feet before standing. "I am just as powerful as you are now, Iris, if not more so." She says before swinging her sword at me. "You always were the weaker sister." I blocked every move she made before taking out Marcus's sword and cutting her stomach causing her to step away.

I smiled at her. "What was that about being the weak sister?" I asked before cutting her again before disarming her. "I may not be the most famous sister, but never forget, I was the one who was trained by not one but two great elders." I swung my sword at her which she dodged and took up a lance. She swung it at me in fear. That's what I wanted from her. Her fear. I sliced the lace's blade off of its staff and kicked it towards her head.

She ducked before it could reach her and embedded itself into the stone wall behind her. She continued to swing the wooden staff in hopes of hitting me but I dodge every move and threw a dagger at her to which she dodged and it hit the button that opened the shields. As the sunlight was let in, she was mesmerized by the fact that she was not ashes. "Oh, it worked." She said distractedly. I swung my sword and sliced her head off of her body.

"Yeah, it worked alright. Too bad you will never get to enjoy it." I tell her fallen corpse before walking out and hunting for my sister.

I find her in the training room, holding Marius's spin in her hand. It was over. I sighed in relief until I saw her face. "He killed Michael." She told me in tears.

I walked over to her and wiped away her tears before ripping off Marius's head. Once his head was ripped off, I heard footsteps coming towards us. I turned to see David breathing a sigh of relief when he saw us. I walked over to him and gave him Marius's head. "You are this coven's true leader." I smiled at him. "Your mother is very proud." He smiled at me before kissing me deeply.

We all walked out of the training room and into the main area. When we reached the stairs, David simply held up the head of Marius and the room grew silent. "Your leader is dead," he tells the lycans. "Take your wounded and leave." He commands. The lycans growled at him but he did not stand down for he commanded once more. "Leave" We watched as they left the coven. David and Selene brought out the blood of the fallen to the coven, in honor of this battle. This blood is shared amongst elders after every battle won to show who was still standing and who is becoming. We passed around the blood and I was shocked to see Cassius hand me a goblet. I drank it from it before handing it to David who did the same. Once he finished his blood, I kissed him softly as reassurance that we were still here together. "I love you" He whispered against my lips. "Always and forever." I smiled at him and kissed him once more. That night we became the leaders of this coven and we became mated as well.

We had just fought our greatest battle, in our darkest hour. After centuries of war between vampire and lycan, this may be at least a time of peace. We must once again tend to our wounded, honor our fallen. Our final two covens must find strength and unity, to heal and rise from the ashes. My and Selene's journey has now come full circle. Once an outcast, I am now one of four chosen elders, from the hunted to the highest honor. I have lived a thousand years. I may live a thousand more or I may die tomorrow. But I no longer fear death for I have known it once already. I am reborn, and my eyes have been opened to the sacred world, and to the promise of what is yet to be. There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only the becoming.

The End.
