You and Josh snuck off to his room soon after. You were anxious about fixing your shirt and trying to work up the nerve to ask how he was feeling about that morning.

You: "I just need you to know whatever you decide to do, I have your back. If you want to leave it, or find her, or even if you want to yell at me for butting in-"

He moved closer hugged you:
"I love you."

You melted into his arms and sighed:
"I love you, too."

Josh: "Move in with me."

You: "How would that even work?"

Josh looked down to the floor, looking rejected so you hugged him and clarified:
"I just meant, you live in a frat house, Babe."

Josh: "I mentioned yesterday that I'd been making some big moves and I meant it. I signed a lease on an apartment yesterday before we left for our trip."

You: "Wait what? Were you going to tell me?"

Josh: "I was working up the nerve to ask you to move with me and then a lot happened. But this was all for you... for us."

Josh kissed you and repeated what he'd promised at the hotel:
"I am ready for the future... and all I see in it is you every step."

You couldn't believe how much falling in love had changed this man. You always hoped to have this someday but if you were being honest, you didn't think it would ever be him. God, you'd hoped though.

His hand moved up to your face to brush a piece hair away as you stared up at him in absolute wonder. This was it. You knew and he knew it. There would just be nothing else better. The secrets of the morning still loomed out there in the universe... somewhere but tonight they might as well have been a million miles away.

He was different tonight, you could feel it. You'd slept together dozens of times over the last almost year and even though he'd always taken the time to be thorough, it was always fun and satisfaction based. Tonight, as you laid in his arms and felt his hand rubbing against your stomach while he stared into your eyes, it felt different. You wanted him and feeling his body pressing against yours, you knew he wanted you but the entire mood had shifted. This was about how deeply you'd fallen in love and not being able to exist one more moment without being as close as two people could become.

You kisses were long and slow as his hands teased your body in all the places except the one that ached for him. His lips left a burning hot trail from your fingertips up to your lips before devouring you again. Peeling each other out of your clothes was less of a race to the finish line and instead a worship of every curve of your bodies. By the time you finally absorbed the weight of him, your body was a tidal wave. He surged in slowly, content on spending all night making love to you.

The next morning you met at the new apartment. He was so excited to show you every detail. It was a very cute, small 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony that overlooked the pool.

Josh: "It even has a bonus den in the back that has no shared walls with any neighbors so I thought it'd be perfect for your music

Josh: "It even has a bonus den in the back that has no shared walls with any neighbors so I thought it'd be perfect for your music."

You had tears in your eyes as you turned around. Josh nervously asked:
"Is something wrong? We can wait and you can move in whenever you're ready. I- I didn't mean to rush you."

You: "No, baby. It's just perfect."

What you really meant was he was perfect.

Josh: "I have been saving the money my parents send me every month for the most part so we can pick out some furniture pieces to get started. I just didn't wanna do that without you."

You: "I'd sleep on the floor every night if it just meant being with you."

He pulled you into a kiss and said:
"Definitely looking forward to a new bed... and breaking it in."

You pulled his lips back to yours and smiled:
"Why wait?"

He didn't hesitate another moment before lifting you up onto the kitchen counter next to the new set of keys the realtor had left you. You wrapped your legs around his waist and tempted him into lowering his sweats just enough to make this home yours and his.
