Jaden took the first chance he saw to change the subject. He advised: "I think you should honestly try calling him again. He has to answer eventually; he's your fiance and you live together."
You dialed again and to your surprise, he answered this time: "I'm a little busy right now."
You could hear Ben fussing in the background so you offered: "I can come home and help you with him-"
Josh quickly dismissed your offer: "I don't want to see you right now. I- I'll pack a bag and go stay with Bryce or something."
You: "No, no. I am at my Mom's and I can spend the night here for tonight so it's easier for Ben to be in his space but we do need to talk soon, Josh."
Josh: "I need to go. I'll call- I just gotta go."
*JADEN'S POV*
He tried to play it cool even though he was actually eavesdropping as he picked up the mess he'd made of his room. When his sister had hung up, he took the opportunity to ask: "How did it go?"
She broke down in tears as she explained: "I ruined everything. He thinks I'm trying to come between him and Ben just because I don't trust Charli's motives."
Jaden: "I can't even blame you, sis. That's a lot to deal with at your age especially when it's not what you signed up for when you fell for him."
You explained everything that happened last night along with ending up in Griffin's room and how you innocently fell asleep waiting for Amelie but reassured him nothing happened.
Jaden: "Oof. I got nothing sis. I'll hang with you until Mom gets home though. Maybe she has advice for the mess both of us have gotten ourselves into.
*NESSA'S POV*
She could feel her emotions boiling over as she sat in the parking lot of the frat house. She knew when Jaden came outside and saw that she'd left him at his parent's house that he would start blowing up her phone but she just had to escape.
When she'd first decided to head to his old stomping grounds at the frat house, she was looking for someone to get revenge with but by the time she got there, she knew that who she was looking for, wasn't going to be there anymore. She looked up from the steering wheel and saw a pile of spray paint cans in the open garage and without a second of hesitation climbed out and began to spray the word cheater all over Jaden's car.

Eva came out after her fight with Griffin and saw what Nessa was doing: "Nessa! Oh my God! What are you doing?"
Nessa dropped the can and turned to reveal tears streaming down her face as she sat down on the curb in shock that she'd lost control that severely. Eva sat down next to her and sighed as they traded war stories of just how bad each of their mornings had gone.
*JOSH'S POV*
Josh had finally gotten Ben back to sleep so he moped around the apartment trying to pick up Ben's toys while he waited for Charli to pick him up. There was a knock at the door and since he was expecting Charli, Josh called out: "It's unlocked; Come in."
His back was to the door when a woman's soft hands moved up and across his eyes. He heard her smooth voice croon: "Guess whoooo?"
Josh spun around in shock: "Nessa? What are you doing here?"
Nessa: "I heard about your girlfriend and thought you could use some company."
Josh: "What? How did you possibly hear that we got in an argument?"
Nessa: "I was referring to her sleeping with Griffin last night."
*NESSA'S POV*
Eva had seemed pretty sure nothing actually happened between her and Griffin but that version of events wouldn't help her get revenge so she embellished: "I just left the frat house where Eva walked in on your girlfriend crawling out of her boyfriend's bed this morning."
Josh dropped the cup in his hand as he turned in shock to find Nessa stepping even closer. He sat down on the chair beside him with the expression frozen in place. She reached her hand out to caress Josh's cheek while he sat in too stunned of a stupor to stop her advance. She sat down on his knee and wrapped his arm around her waist.
Nessa: "Let me make you forget how you're feeling right now. I can make us both feel a lot better."
She leaned in, slowly and the moment her lips brushed across his, Josh gained his senses just in time to grab Nessa by the wrist and pull her hands away from him: "It's not going to happen, Nessa."
Nessa pouted: "Shame. I guess I'll just have to self-destruct some other way."
