After you finished working out the verses in the song you were dueting with Chase, you headed home because it was super late. You got back to the apartment and were surprised to see that Josh wasn't home yet. Charli, however, was there putting Ben to sleep. She backed out of Ben's room, carrying his baby monitor, and smiled: "He's fast asleep. Hopefully, he stays that way. Are you good to keep an ear out for the monitor until Josh gets here?"
You: "Yeah of course, but uh- Charli? Can I ask you about Chase? How serious are you guys?"
Charli: "I mean, I like him a lot but we don't have a label or anything. I'm not really worried about that right now."
You: "Is it because of Josh?"
*CHARLI'S POV*
Charli: "No? Of course not."
She sat the monitor down and grabbed her jacket before heading towards the door. What Y/N said next came out sounding a lot like an accusation if it really hurt Charli: "Please don't go after Josh."
Charli stopped in her tracks: "What are you talking about? Just because I'm worried about what he does as Ben's father doesn't mean I'm suddenly chasing after him! Josh and I will always have a relationship because of our son."
She knew that Y/N was probably just feeling insecure but this just felt out of nowhere: "I thought we were friends."
Charli stood in the doorway, clearly hurt. She paused and shook her head: "Funny, all this time and I thought we were a family."

*YOUR POV*
You were in bed reading a book, waiting for Josh to get home from studying for one of his last finals of the year. He'd texted you that he was going to be super late and you were trying to wait up. He came in and dropped his keys on the dresser but it was obvious his mood had turned more heated since you'd texted him when you were leaving the studio.
You tried to ask: "Studying not go well?"
To your surprise he responded with: "Did you yell at Charli and tell her to stay away from me?"
You didn't really know how to answer that because even though you'd definitely not said those words at all, you had definitely implied it.
Josh scoffed: "I can't believe you!!! I have tried to always make you a part of everything in my life including raising my son but do NOT push me to have to choose between you and my child. If Charli leaves she will take my son with her and I- I will NEVER forgive you."
You realized the seriousness of the situation and jumped up to try to hug him but he just pulled away and announced: "I'm going to go sleep in Ben's room. I- I can't even talk to you right now."

*GRIFF'S POV*
He was laying in his room waiting to hear Blake get home. He didn't try to be overprotective of his sister but hearing his housemate get home meant that his sister would probably be coming home with him if the date went well. He jumped up when his door suddenly opened and he found Y/N standing there in tears: "Is Amelie still here?"
Griff: "No, she is already out with Blake. You can wait for her if you want? I'm sure they'll be back soon."
She plopped down on the edge of his bed and buried her face in her hands. He offered: "Wanna talk about it?"
To his surprise, she spilled out every detail including how Josh hadn't even tried to text her when she'd left in the middle of the night. After their talk, he went to go look and see if Blake had made it back so he could get Amelie for her. When he came back to tell her they weren't back yet, and to ask if she felt any better... his childhood crush was curled up in his bed, fast asleep. She finally looked so peaceful he couldn't bear to wake her. He sat down next to her and pulled out his phone to play a quiet game while he waited for Amelie.
*EVA'S POV*
She felt bad that she'd got stuck late at work and missed dinner with her boyfriend, Griffin so she decided to stop and grab coffee and donuts before surprising him at the frat house. When she walked in nothing could have prepared her for what she found... Griffin laying in his bed with Y/N curled up next to him.
Eva shrieked: "What in tf is this?!?!"
Y/N jumped up as Griffin immediately started to explain that it was nothing. They'd just fallen asleep talking. Amelie heard the commotion from down the hall and came rushing in: "What is going on in here- Oh..."
Y/N whispered to her as Eva continued to yell at Griff: "I- I think I should let them work this out. Will you give me a ride? I took an uber here."
