I heard my mum telling me that she was leaving for school and that dad has already left for his work , she has also kept breakfast for me. I somehow managed to get up from my bed checked time and it was 11 . Shit I slept that late !
I striped myself out from my night clothes took my towel and went to bathroom to take a shower. After sometimes I came out feeling fresh changed into my sweatpants and a tee and went downstairs to have breakfast. I took the pancakes and put them in the oven to heat them up and made a cup of tea. After few minutes the oven gave a sign that the pancakes were warm enough so I took them out on plate and put some chocolate syrup in it and enjoyed my breakfast. Soon my phone rang.
"Hey Stella", I said in cheerful tone
"Heyyy . Can you come to my place now" , I am kinda bored right now , said Stella
"Yeah sure . But why don't we go out to a park and have lunch outside and in the evening we can watch movies at your place" . I said
"Sounds fun", she said
"Cool I will pick you after half an hour" , I said
Then we both hung up the phone. I finsihed my breakfast , cleaned my dishes and kitchen , I checked my time and it was 12.30 . So I went to my room chaged myself into a blue ripped skinny jeans , black crop top and wore my toms .I didn't wear much make up just a bit of mascara and applied lip gloss to my chapped lips and grabed my bag and keys and left my place. I was outside Stella home. I rang her up and told her to come outside. She came out and I was happy to see that she was actually coming abck to her normal self and also looked healthy and glowing.
' Hey' . I said
' Hiii '. she said and came and sat on the passenger seat.
"So where do we go now . Should we have lunch or go to the mall for some window shopping", I said earning a laugh from her
"What's with window shopping , just look at the clothes and come back", she said nonchalantly .
"Yeah I mean we can just look for all the good clothes and if we get into NYU which by the way letter comes tomorrow via mail . If we get in I am sure our parents will be happy enough to spend some cash on us . Plus we need to look for the college" . I said smiling
"Alright . Let's head to the mall and look for some good stuff", she said winking at me .
"Cool". I turn the music on and as usual we both sang along and headed for the mall. We reached at the mall parked my car and went inside . First we looked in forever 21 we found some good casual clothes and then we went to the topshop and we both had eyes on some beautiful dresses. I was looking through some dresses when Stella said . I really like that blue dress I hope the dress will be here when we come back next time
"Sure it will be don't worry" . I say
"Plus we do need some good dresses for the NYU parties" . I said excitedly. We looked into some more showrooms then we both were tired and hungry. Both of us wanted to have chinese . So we went to a nearby chinese restaurant. We went inside and the smell of the food made me more famished. We both took a table near window and ordered our foods . We talked for a while regarding random stuffs and our food came so we started eating .
"These are the best dumplings I had in a while .. ummmm ", I said letting out soft sounds from my mouth.
"Yeah right . They are good", Stella says
We finished our food and drink and headed for Stella home. We reached her place her mum and dad were back from work , Stella mum and dad were both doctors . So they had a high expectations from her .
"Hey mom we are back" Stella says hugging her mum and then dad
"Hey honey and hiii christy how was your day had fun" ? She asked
"Yeah we had a great time" . I said smiling
"Nice I am making spaghetti for dinner . Christy you're staying back tonight right" ,her mother asks
"Yeah . I will be staying back plus tomorrow's a big day" . I said nervously
"Oh right NYU letter", her mother says
"Okie mum we are going to my room call us once your done with the dinner", Stella says
"Sure honey",Mrs wilson says
We headed to bella room both of us took shower and changed into night dress and switched on the tv . Now we were deciding which movie to play. We both argued on various movies but couldn't decide one . I wanted to go for the notebook but somehow it reminded me that if Stella sees it I am sure she will be emotional again.
"So instead I told her let's watch Pretty Little Liar" , I said I knew she had all the eposides in her laptop plus I wanted to catch up on the series.
"Okie let's watch", She said We both lay on her bed and watched PLL.
"Stella , christy dinner ready" Mrs Wilson shouted
"Coming mom" Stella says. We went down to the kitchen and the aroma of the food made me more hungry , we sat on the dining table and mrs wilson served us the food.
"The spaghetti is so tasty mrs wilson", I said happily with my mouth full of food .
"Thank you christy you can have more" . She said smiling
"So are you both nervous for tomorrow" , Mrs Wilson asks
"Yeah kinda .. I just hope we both get through . I can wait to start afresh", Stella said I just nodded along
"Don't worry you both will get through . I have seen you both studying hard to get good grades", Mrs Wilson said. We finsihed our food . I helped mrs wilson with the dishes though she wanted me to go to bed but I wanted to help her .
"I will be in my room christy", Stella says
"Okie . I will come once I am done with the dishes" . I said
"So is Stella doing well Mrs wilson asks with a concerned tone . hope she's not self harming herself anymore"
"As far as I know she has stopped doing it . I didn't see any new marks on her wrist and plus I guess she's doing great . Don't worry Mrs wilson I will take care of her" . I said
"Thank you christy" . She said while hugging me and pecking my cheeks with a good night kiss.
"Good night Mrs Wislon and Good night Mr Wilson". I said and went to bella room. I sat on her bed and we both continued with the series. My eyes started to pain as i was looking at the screen from past few hours and they were also growing heavy due to sleep.
"Hey Stella I am going to sleep my eyes hurt" . I said pouting
"Alright even I am going to sleep" . Stella says
We both lay in the dark staring at the ceiling.
"You know I still miss him sometimes . I just wish I could turn back the time". Stella said her voice almost breaking
"Hey it's okie Stella you can miss him sometimes as far as you don't go back to being a emotional wreck. I know it's difficult for you but I just want you to move ahead instead of moving back alright ". I said in a concerned tone.
"Yeah I know .. I am trying . Thank you christy and goodnight . Tomorrow's a big day".
"I know . Good night Stella", And we both dosed off .
