Chapter six

Half and hour more then we were about to reach NYU. The car ride actually it had to be two and a half hour drive from queens to NYU but due to heavy traffic it became a three and a half hour ride which means we will reach at four or four thirty.

Soon we entered NYU gates , both nervous and excited at the same time. Stella parked her car and we got out took our luggage and went to the counter and showed our acceptance letter to the women who was at the counter and asked for our room number.

"It's room number 109 block c ", she said in a stern voice

Then we were on our way looking for 109 room ,even asked some girls who where walking in the corridors and with their help , finally we reached our room and opened it . The room was far better then I expected , I thought we will get a trashy room . But it was better than i expected we both decided to make it more comfy and liveable.

We both started settling things there was one cupboard to fit in our clothes, we joined both the beds and used new bedsheets , then we cleaned the shelves were we had to keep our books and then stacked it with our books , now the problem was there was no place to keep our toiletries and make up stuffs so we needed a table to keep all the stuffs . So we thought we will buy it tomorrow after our college gets over. Finally everything was settled , so we went to take a shower .one thing I hate about the hostel is communal bathroom, so we both grabed our stuffs and headed towards the bathroom and took a quick shower and headed back to our room. We changed in new clothes and decided to call our parents saying we have reached an settled everything.

"Hey mum , we reached at 4:30 and settled everything and just got out of shower and thougt of calling you" , I said in a cheerful tone

"Hey baby . we were waiting for your call. Neways glad you both have settled everything . How's the room , washroom etc" , she bombared me with all the questions.

"Mum relax everything is good . Bathroom is communal that's a bit problem but rest all good , don't worry ", I said smiling

"Alright christy then good luck for tomorrow and dad saying hi and says he already misses you" , she said with a sad tone

"Aww mum tell him I miss him too and even you too . I love you both bye take care" , I said and hung up the phone.

Stella was taking to her parents too and right after me she hung up her phone too .

"So what should we eat for dinner , its already 7" , I said

"Should we go out and explore ", Stella said nervously

"Hmmmm. Let's just check some closest restaurants near our hostel on internet ", I said

We looked for restaurants am and found some reasonable ones near , so we decided to eat outside , we locked our room and went out , Stella started her car and we drove via gps .

We reached an italian restaurant near our hostel . The area was kinda filled with studensts as it was close to university. We entered the restaurant and it was bit crowded , finally we did get a seat next to a window we sat there and ordered some food as we both were hungry. The wiater came and took our order and went.

We both sat and talked for a while , when a group of guys entered the restaurant . It looked like they came here regularly because the way they were greeted at the restaurant seemed like they were regular here. The boys came and took the next table on our side .

And just then I caught and eye of a tall figure, dark hair surrounding his face and emerald green eyes . His lips they were so kissable , wait what did I just thought kissable , what was wrong with me , I looked back at him again and my eyes scanned his lips again they were so pink and he was wearing a grey shirt and black skinny jeans, he was holding onto his friend and they both were laughing , I was so caught up at satring at him that I didn't hear what Stella was saying and didn't even realise that the group of guys were sitting next to our table , just then the guy noticed me staring at him and I cussed at my stupidity . Shit ! I mumbled looking away.

"Are you even listening to what I was saying" , Stella ask in a annoyed tone

"Sorry I was just lost for a moment" , I said .

Our food came and we were about to eat , Just then the guy that i was staring at came to our table and said , "hii girls haven't seen you both around before are you new here or something".

I didn't know what to say , I am sure he saw me staring at him before feeling embarrassed I just looked down at my food and let Stella do the talking.

"Yes , we are new here , we just moved today" , said Stella

"Oh wow nice . So you guys are working or studying here" ? The guy asked

"Oh we are freshman at NYU" , Stella said excitedly

"That's sounds great because I study there too , I am in my second year which means I am one year senior to you ", he said smiling

"Oh nice" , Stella said

"Just then he was about to say something to me , his friends from the next table called him" , coming he said

"Neways now that we are in the same university we will get to see eachother often" , he said smiling "nice to meet you both" and he said bye and went away.

Finally I could breath again. I tried to see if he was really gone , just then he looked back at me and winked with a smirk on his face . And yes i did blush for a few seconds .

We both enjoyed our meal and talked about the senior guy who happend to be in the same college as us and in between when I looked up I saw the guy staring at me and when I looked at him , he would look away . We both finsihed our food and payed our bill and was leaving . I saw the boys looking at us and especially those green eyes satring right into you made my stomach flutter , what was happening to me , this was definitely a new feeling , I heard him saying bye to us from his table but we pretended like we didn't hear him and went outside . It was quite chilly outside , we quickly got to our car and drove back to our hostel.

We reached our room , switched on the lights , changed into our night dress and got everything ready for tomorrow , set our alarm at 8 because we didn't wanted to be late on our first day. And then switched off the lights and got in our bed. Stella was fast asleep whereas my mind was wandering around and had one picture in my mind and that was him and I began to think college is really going to be quite interesting if he's going to be around and just then I was sound asleep while thinking about him.
