Chapter Twenty Four

"Hey christy how come you're back so early", Stella asked while harry just stared at me

"Well I didn't have my last lecture so I came back early", I said nervously I was nervous becuase I was thinking harry must have told her about the kiss but she sounded normal so I guess he did not. Harry stood up from the bed.

"Anyways I was just leaving, call me later stella bye", he said and looked back at me but didn't say anything just walked past by me slamming the door on the way.

"I scowl, What's wrong with him"?

"Nothing you know how he is", she said

"He's going to break our door one day", I said while keeping my bag on the bed and moved to the closet and continued speaking

"You didn't even bother to message me lastnight and are you going to stay till I come back from the shower or disappear again", I said frowning

She laughs, "I am going to stay back, now go and take a shower you stink".

Hey I don't stink and Thank you for giving me your precious time, I needed to talk to you, I said grabbing my stuffs.

"I know", she said and I just shrug and walk out. I got under the shower hot water dripping down, I don't know how I am going to start the conversation, I think I should tell her about the kiss but if it hurts her and she stops talking to me, but then if she's not dating harry then there won't be a problem, uhh I am just so confused. The water was starting to get cold so I quickly got if the shower.

Stella was laying on the bed when I got back and I kept my stuffs and put on some fresh clothes while mentally preparing myself for the conversation. Finally I sat on the bed and looked at her and she sat too.

"Before you say anything I jusy want to say that I like harry and harry likes me too", she said in one breath and I frooze for a moment and my heart ached , I mean I had an idea that she kind of likes harry but harry after he kissed me yesterday I thought he didn't.  Stella snapped me out of thought.

"Say something atleast", she said looking at meand I didn't know what to say, my mind was all jumbled up.

"I am really happy for you but how do you know that he likes you too",  I asked

"Well when we met you at the restaurant yesterday, he told me that he likes me suddenly and I said I like him too, I mean he didn't officially asked me to be his girlfriend but I guess soon he will suprise me", she said blushing, I guess he must have said it right after kissing me or maybe before.

"Why do you keep zoning out", she said looking confused

Umm nothing, I am really happy for you and I hope he doesn't break your heart if he does I am going to hurt him badly, I said and gave her a tight hug. Tears started brimming in my eyes but I quickly wiped it away.

"So what did you want to talk about", she said retrieving from the hug.

Nothing important,  I am going to my parents house this weekend, so I wanted to ask if you want to come too, I said

This weekend its not possible, Tom throwing his birthday party even you should stay back and we can go the other weekend,  she said sounding all excited.

No you party hard, I think university party the way I pictured it to be is not exactly the same plus I am missing my family so I will go, I said

Okay, she said and just then her phone started ringing, I guess it must be harry but no it was Jasmine

"Hey they all going out to eat something, do you want to come"?  She asked.

"No go ahead I already have plans with adam", I said which was not true because I have already cancelled the plan before

"Oh cool, I hope you guys are not up to something and hiding it from me", she said smiling

"No we are just good friends Stella",  I said whining

"Okie dokie", she said and quickly grabbed her phone and wallet. Soon  she left the room and now I was alone in the room with my thoughts. 
I was thinking about harry and about our kiss and tears started rolling down my cheeks, so maybe the kiss didn't mean anything to him and he was just fooling around with me because I was not worthy of him or maybe becuase I really did push all his buttons and he wanted to take a revenge. But then why would he look at me like I am the only one for him and at his party he did say so many things and I pissed him off. So all that was just a lie. I think now I know how it feels to face a broken love, a love life where you're the only one sailing on the boat alone and the emptiness and hurt is filling up the boat slowly. I cried for a good hour when finally I thought I can't just sit here and keep thinking it is only going to hurt more. So I called Adam and he picked up after two rings.

"Hey do you want to hangout,  I am free now", I said

"Yeah sure, I will pick you up after half an hour", he said sounding all cheerful

"Cool", I said and disconnected the call, I am going to booze today till I pass out and need to sunk down all the things that stella said and forget about harry and the world for now. I got up from the bed and looked for something really good to wear, I was thinking of a dress but then we were not going to clubbing. So I planned to wear my ripped skinny jeans, white crop top and a black blazer to carry incase I feel cold later. I wanted to curl my hair but that will take a lot of time so I just kept it straight and wore my black pumps. I just hope I don't trip.

My phone started ringing while I was applying my mascara. I picked up the phone and kept on speaker and it was Adam.

"Hey I am outside your hostel", he said

"Okay I will be out in five", I said and started applying my lipgloss. I grabbed my wallet and phone. Locked the room and got out. I was walking carefully just incase I don't trip. When I reached out I saw Adam car parked outside and when I looked the other way I saw harry car parked and Jasmine and all were standing. Shoot!  I quickly tried to escape from there withouth getting noticed.

"Hey someone looks hot", chase said shouting and I stopped and looked at him  and I saw harry gazing at me from head to toe, it was uncomfortable looking at him so I just looked away in stella direction.

"Umm thanks,  I am in a hurry catch you guys later ", I said and walked near Adam car. He got out from his car and quickly came to my side and opened the door for me, I saw Harry and all looking at us but I ignored their stare and hopped in. He closed the door and came to his side and drove past them. Well that was awkward, I thought to myself.
