Chapter Fifty Nine

"Hey Adam where are you", I ask

"Um I am in campus where are you"?

"Me too, Are you free",

"Yeah I will see you in a bit, wait for me near my car",  he said

"Okay", I said. I went outside and searched around for his car. I forgot to ask him where he has parked it. Anyhow I will find it myself. I looked around and finally spotted his car. And he was already standing there.
He waves at me and smiles. I smile back and walk towards his car.

"How come you reached so soon", I ask

"I am a superman", he says

"Very funny",  I said, he laughs and unlocks the car. And I get in. He starts the car and within a minute we were out. I saw harry and all standing near his car, I guess they didn't see us going. Thankfully otherwise they will ask harry thousands of question.

"So where do you want to go?", he asks

"Coffee shop"

"Okay", he says. He takes us to somewhere new. And I guess it was quite far from the campus, anyways its good for a change even though I like the chinese restaurant still I wanted a new hangout place. He stopped near a small coffee shop and parked his car. There was not a proper parking area but stillnhe managed to keep it on a safe area so that it doesn't gets towed. We walk in the shop and it smelled of coffee and only few customers were there. We took the window seat .

"I didn't see you around in the cmapus today not een during lunch break", I ask

"Uh I was busy attending classes and lunch I had with my sister,  she's in town actually",  he says, I know who he's takking about and a pang of insecurity hit me because she might try to contact harry and what if they meet and what if she could convince harry to come back to her. What if my nightmare becomes true. Anxiety was taking over me and my hands started to become clamy.

"Christy are you alright",  Adam asks

"Huh yeah I am fine", I said

"Should we order", he asks

"Yeah, I will have a cold coffee", I said, maybe it will help me to cool down I thought to myslef. The waiter takes our order and goes away.

"So now can you start with your love story", he smirks, I roll my eyes and he laughs.

"Well that day when you left after that I went to Stella house to see her parents and there I found out that my mum and dad were planning to get divorced, I passed out hearing the news you can say and somehow harry came to know about it and he came to see and that's how I got see the real him and he proposed me on the last day at my place and yeah so that's what happened",  I said. The waiter came back with our order and went away.

"So you are saying that your parents are getting divorced",  he asks

"Yeah", I mumble

"I am really sorry christy",  he says

"Its fine, I mean I am fine", I said trying to hold back my tears.

"Why didn't you tell me before", he says

"I never got time, plus I don't really like talking about it, its and emotional topic to discuss",  I said

"So how did harry came to know about it", he asks

"He heard Stella talking to his parents and the next moment he was at my place", I said

"Really",  he asks in disbelief
