Chapter Twenty Eight

I didn't realise that even I have dozed off my head resting on Mack head, maybe all the stressful thoughts drained me. I heard some noise, clicking and flashes,  when I tried opening my eyes, I saw Tom and Erick taking pictures of Mack and I. I quickly got up and even mack woke up by my sudden movement.

"Guys will you stop it, it's not even funny",  I said yawning

"Oh well it is funny and you guys looked so calm and peaceful", Tom said smiling

"Whatever,  where are we"? I asked looking out and figuring out the place.

"Oh I thought we should have some dinner then we will drive you back to the hostel", Tom said

"Cool, I am feeling hungry", I said rubbing my stomach. Four of us got out from the car, harry car was already parked and I guess they might have gone inside. We were at the same restaurant in Chinatown. We got in and harry and all have taken the back seat as usual.

"I am going to the washroom",  I said to tom and walked away. I got in and splashed some water on my face because I looked like as if I habe just rolled out from my bed. I wiped my face with the tissue and the  got out. I walked towards the table and the only seat thatnwas left for me to sit was opposite Stella and Harry. I sat next to Tom and drank a glass of water which hydrated me. I saw harry looking at me butbthen I just ignored him like as always.  We ordered our food and the rest of them kept talking about the beach and stuffs.

"Christy you coming to the party on Friday right", Tom asked

"No sorry,  I am going home planning to suprise them", I said

"What you're going to miss my birthday bash", Tom said being all dramatic

"I already planned it before, I kind of miss them more lately and I can always come to another party", I said

"It's not the same but anyhow if your plan drops then you're always welcome, it's fun being with you", Tom said smiling

"Aww thank you Tom" , I said and everyone was giving us a look especially harry, I saw a smirk on his face. Chase and jasmine were busy talking to each other seems like they are so in love and whereas if I notice Stella and Harry they were nothing like a couple,  they would talk normally like friends and harry wouldn't even touch her or show any kind of affection which was strange, my thoughts were interrupted when the waiter got us our food and we all ate as always Chase digging in first. In between I saw Stella and harry looking at me and saying something but I gnored them, maybe I will ask her later. Soon we finsihed our food and  got out. This time I had to drive back in harry car because I didn't want Tom dropping me specially. We said bye to three of the boys and walked towards harry car.

"Hey christy will you sit in front with me", harry asked looking nervous

"What"? I said and looked at Stella who was walking with me while chase and jasmine were walking way ahead of us.

"You heard me, will you sit in front", he asked again, I looked at stella and she nodded like she wants me to sit infront, so I just shrugged and sat on the passenger seat whereas stella sat back.  What is happening, why are they being so weird,  I am surely going to loose my mind I thought.  Harry started his car and soon we were out from Chinatown.

I saw from the corner of my eye harry looking at me, but I just pretended that I have closed my eyes. Traffic wad heavy at night, so the drive was taking long meanwhile harry took my hand in his and pressed it tight, I didn't flinch or reacted because it would be awkward in front of Chase and all , so I just pretended that I am asleep.  He kept squeezing my hand and I just sat there motionless,  he would run his fingers on my palm and then hold it gently. It was sort of comforting and felt so nice. I hope stella didn't see all of this. All this time I was awake and pretending but harry thought I was actually sleeping because when we reached hostel he lightly shook me up, telling me to wake up and I did. I was controlling my laugh because he believed my act. I gave him a small smile and got out of the car.

We said bye to  chase and harry, this time harry giving me a tight hug, I saw chase and all looking at us, but I was confused as much as they are by harry's action. Then he hugged stella so it took all the confusion away, he was just normally hugging me. Soon they left and we walked towards our dorm, jasmine wanted to sleep in our room today, which means stella and I cannot talk. We got in our room, three of us jumped on our bed because we were dead tired to do anything and I quickly set an alarm for tomorrow because I am not going to miss my classes anyhow and three of us squeezed on the bed and dozed off.
