Small children grow in the womb

~Crystal~

After what happened I felt so ashamed of what I did, but that's not why I stayed away. Shortly after what happened two small cubs came to my domain and it's my responsibility to keep them safe until they get bigger to protect their womb themselves. I sensed strong magick from the small bean like bodies. I don't know if they'll shift into a wolf pup or a lion cub, maybe it'll be both. I know that they'll be treasured by everyone for as long as we can.

It was only a day that I was gone. I felt all the emotions that Snow felt: hurt, betrayal, sadness. It killed me to stay away but once I felt her extreme fear and horror I knew I couldn't stay away any longer.

Once I felt her start to withdraw I knew enough was enough. I had just finished building my den to perfection where I had left my cubs to grow a little more before rushing to the surface.

No one hurts what's mine.

We had finished our stake out with little to no problems after that. We were on our way back to pack lands now. Following the same order in which we left.

Crystal is back now but somethings different and I can't quite put my finger on it. She seems more aggressive and agitated lately and I can't help but to worry about her. I can tell she's hiding something from me but what can I do? She'll tell me on her own time.

We just entered the border of pack lands; mind linking the pack to let them know we're home and soon we're running beside other wolves. They come closer to fill in the ranks and escort us further onto the pack. We break through the woods and come into the pack house where a lot of people are standing there waiting for us. Including Mr. Grumpy Alpha himself.

We all come to a stop at the steps, shifting into our two legged forms. The wolves on the porch throw clothes for the wolves in my group to put on and the whole clearing is filled with chatter and hugs.

My younger cousins and nephews come running up to me and along tags Rose who latches onto a spot she can reach on my leg.

After that it's all a string of non-sensical jabber that I try my best to answer but there's too many voices at once to comprehend.

Alpha Grump ass clears his throat to speak and it wasn't until I looked at him that a flare of unease rose up in my stomach. I felt jittery and slightly uncomfortable.

Ignoring the feeling I begin to climb the steps so I can walk past him and maybe get a little bite to eat. Moving past him I try my hardest to contort myself in any possible way so I wouldn't touch him at all but a shiver passes through my body still as I pass him. That's not normally my body's response to being near him so I assume it might be a great thing on my end.

That we're finally starting to be on the same page when it comes to rejecting him.

Taking in a big breath it soon comes to my attention that that was a big mistake when a big whiff of him enters my nose.

I would like to say my eyes didn't roll back into my head but at this point in my life I couldn't confidently say that it didn't.

I make me way to the kitchen fully aware that I have a group of people following me. Some people have already broken off and have gone separate ways. The fridge is in my line of sight and it takes me two more steps until I pull it open to look for something to eat.

I'm hungry but I don't exactly know what I want to eat. Skimming though the contents I see left over meat and something else that I can't make out but thinking about eating it suddenly makes me want to puke. Covering my mouth with my hand I take a slow deep breath before closing my eyes. I take three deep breaths through my mouth so I won't get sick again; when I feel like my stomach isn't going to revolt like it was I open my eyes and uncover my mouth.
