Snow

I woke up on the third day stretching my sore limbs and smiling at the previous days with my family. I chuckle at the memory of when Miles came back three days prior looking like he won the lottery. His immediate response to being back and seeing me was to run over to me, picking me up in a bear hug, and swing me around like a rag doll. I also remember how he told me that he approved and liked my mate.

Speaking of mate, Miles is going back out to get him.

I wonder if he left already.

Crawling out of bed my feet touch the floor right as Danny and Ash come barging into my room arguing about something, again. Following closely behind them is my other batch of nephew's, arguing about something too.

"Okay! Okay! What's going on?"

The eleven year old Caleb steps forward and sits down on the end of my bed while I head to my closet to get dressed. Leaving the door open I listen to Caleb as he explains what they were fighting about.

"We've never met a wolf before and so we're arguing over who is right about what your mate is like."

Pulling my shirt over my head I walk over to me bed and sit down next to Caleb. Looking at the small handful of kids in my room I find it unbelievably confusing as to how they've never come across a wolf that wasn't a were.

"Have you all seriously never seen/met any wolves?"

They all shake their heads no and my eyebrows rose in a surprised question.

"Do you want to hear about them?"

They simultaneously nod their heads as I find myself smiling.

"Let's see from what I gathered from them they are extremely possessive, especially the Alpha. They love giving and getting any sort of attention and they're furiously loyal to their mates. They're strong and proud, they hate unwarranted abuse and won't hesitate to kill when provoked. Family is also extremely important to them. But be cautious, just because one means light doesn't mean they actually are good, and that goes for all people regardless of whether they're a Were or not."

I let that sink into their heads for a bit before standing up and walking to the door. Opening the door I pause in the threshold before turning my head back to look at them.

"Race ya to the  kitchen."

Quickly turning around I run as fast as I can down the stairs and hallways to the kitchen all while being fully aware of the lions behind chasing me down. Sliding into the kitchen I stand by the women who have now become my sisters and watch as the kids trip and pile up at the doorway. Laughing I shake my head and head over to my baby nephew and niece, Red and Andrea. Giving them each a kiss before turning to my other nephew, Max, who came back a couple of days ago.

"Sup Max. How's your morning?"

He chuckles in his low voice and walks over to kiss my cheek.

"Aunt Snow, only you would wake up well past noon with the mind set that it's only nine."

Looking over at the clock on the wall I see that it says two and that he's right. Shrugging my shoulders I make myself a bowl of cereal and sit down with the rest of my family. Eating my food I listen to my family babble about nothing in particular and think about how lucky I was to get kidnapped by them. Pulling myself out of my reverie I see that Maria is snapping her fingers in my face, pushing it away with a mock glare when I realize she's doing it now on purpose.

"What Maria?"

"Miles will be back soon."

"Oh? Where'd he go?"
