Snow's (POV)

The crying was getting closer but from where? I'm currently looking around to pin point the cry when a little girl walks into the meadow with her head down. She hasn't seen me yet so I quickly get up and walk behind a tree to shift. When I shifted all I was wearing was my handmade deer skin shorts and crop top (luckily those clothes shift with me). After standing behind the tree looking like a creeper I finally decide to come out and see what exactly is wrong with this child. If there's one thing I can't stand then it would be to see kids being bullied and/or cry.

I walk out and quietly sit a few paces from the kid. When she still doesn't notice me, that's when I speak. 

"Hey sweetie, where'd you come from? and why are you crying?"

*sniffle*  "who is you?"

I wipe away her tears. 

"Now now little one, there's no reason to cry. My name is Snow.. I'm staying here for a bit with permission from Beta Xavier till I get to speak with the Alpha.. Sweet pea.. you never answered my question."

The most cutest giggles come from the little girl in front of me.

"My name is Rose, I come from the pack house. You know uncle Xavy?"

I smile.

"Ahhh, uncle Xavier is it? Yes I know him. He came by 3 days ago. Between you and me I think he was trying to chase me off, but he failed cause he reminds me of a cute little puppy."

Full blown laughter is heard for about a minute or two. When we finally quiet down she says:

"Ya, uncle Xavy does act like a puppy doesn't he? Sometimes he acts like one more than me." 

*giggle*

I smile down at this cute little angel feeling happy that she's smiling. 

"Rose, darling, you never told me why you were crying."

"Oh... Tat... I was crying cause no ones wants to play wit me."

"Whaaattt no one wants to play with the sweet Rose. Who would ever think of not playing with the sweet and cute you?"

"I don no. All the kids won pray wit me unless they see uncle Xavy or brother Blakey near."

"Well since those kids obviously don't know what their missing how bout I play with you then take you home later. How's that sound little Rose? Do you want to play with me in this flower meadow?"

"YAA!! I wanna pray wit chu!!!"

Awe she's so straight forward and cute.

Skip ahead 1 1/2 hours 

After running around playing various games and teaching this sweet kid how to make a flower crown I finally decide to bring her back to the pack house. With much struggle and bribing I finally get her to go home, with the promise to play with her again.

So here I am 10 minutes later. Walking in my human form towards the pack house. When I get there I see 'Uncle Xavy' running around looking mighty frantic. I might have an idea why so I do what a good passerby would do and call him.

"OH UNCLE XAVY!!!" Ha this is fun.

Xavier looks at me, does a double take then looks like the whole world was just lifted off his shoulders. I think he pretty much full out sprints to me, snatches Rose out of my arms and gives her a semi bone crushing hug. All the while Rose is giggling in his arms.

"Rose! Where have you been? Do you know how worried I was when I couldn't find you?"

"I'z sorry uncle Xavy. I was sad den I gots lost and den sissy Snow found me an then.. then we played." 

Oh my sweet baby Jesus I think I just died and went to cuteness heaven.

"Sorry Xavier she came into the meadow where I was, crying and looking so sad that I couldn't just let her leave that way. Then we got to playing and well.. lost track of time. I know I should have brought her back immediately, but it broke my heart seeing her like that."

Xavier looks at me for a bit then at Rose and back to me and gave a very dramatic sigh.

"... It's okay. It's just her parents left awhile ago for some alone time. Left her older brother in charge, but then he had stuff come up so he was forced to leave her in my hands and if I lost her he would have my head."

"That's fine. ...Whelp I gotta go, so.. BYE"

As I turned to go Rose called out to me.

"Sissy Snow, you gonna play wit me again right?"

"Of course I will sweet Rose. Who else is going to play in the meadow with me and call me sissy Snow other than you? Although I do have to go sweet pea."

I kiss her on the cheek and turn to Xavier.

"I'll be in the meadow when the alpha comes back. If it's too dark out please wait till the morning then come to the cave you were informed bout okay?"

I pinch his cheek and called back to him as I walked away, "Bye uncle Xavy!"

As I ran back to the meadow I felt the air around me shift giving me the chills. Nothing like this has ever happened before so I wrote it off and continued back to the meadow.

Back at the Pack house Alpha Blake has returned and immediately turns toward the direction of the meadow.
